ATMContent Manager is the only solution you need to manage your

screens and support marketing messages on multi-vendor devices,

including OS/2, without hardware and software replacement.

Regardless of where you are in your ATM life cycle, ATMContent

Manager allows you to leverage your entire investment to date, and

evolves with your ATM strategy without worrying about continuity

in the customer experience. ATMContent Manager’s intuitive

web based interface makes self-management of ATM marketing

messages easy on most ATMs/Kiosks.

How it works:

u The TEKchand TekEx Agent is installed on ATM

u ATM operations uses the Controller interface to configure

and enable screens for management via the ATMLive

Manager platform (either marketing screens or the entire

ATM load file).

u The agent downloads Local Screen Customization

(LSC) files to device depending on the ATM emulation/

application. LSC files replace the Host based

Screen Definition files with those from the TEKchand

platform. Alternatively, the Host can avoid local screen

customization by managing the graphic references in the

ATM Screen definitions.

u Marketing department now uses the Builder web interface

to change marketing messages on ATM screens via an

easy to use campaign management system.

STAndArd ConTenT MAnAgeMenTProduct Summary: a complete solution for the distribution and management of graphic screens for multi-vendor state-screen based

ATMs (NDC/91x), from the management of key marketing screens (Welcome, Wait, Thank You) to the full ATM load file (i.e. the entire

consumer flow), all via a unified web interface.

Note: text-based screen change capabilities of the ATMContent Manager product for non-TCP/IP ATMs via the Host Interface are not available as a

plug and play implementation because some development is required to interface with the client Host System (current TEKchand implementations in

production include Base24, Connex Advantage, EPOC, and other proprietary Terminal Handlers). Product Managers interested in text-based content

support via Host Interface should contact [email protected] for additional details.

How it works:

u The TekEx Agent continues the use of local screen

customization to reference HTML files for screen definition

(eg: Welcome Screen) that are stored locally on ATM.

u A campaign is no longer defined by a single graphic file

like in the base product, but by a “container” or “campaign

object.” PwrHTMLTM Campaign Object contains all the

content and business logic (i.e. HTML, XML, CSS, JSP,

Images, etc files) for screen presentation at the ATM.

u The Web App provides a powerful user interface to create

the campaign object, define the business rules for content

display, and set the triggers for the campaign object to

interface with the PwrCRMTM product for real-time, 1-to-1

targeted marketing campaigns.

Vendor CAMpAign MAnAgeMenTProduct Summary: A remote management solution for the delivery and deployment of vendor campaign objects and personality files

on respective vendor devices. This product function allows customers who want to continue using vendor specific campaign tools such

as Diebold Campaign Office™ and NCR Promote™ to create their marketing campaigns to use the TEKchand platform as a distribution

server with multi-vendor support to deliver campaigns to ATMs.

How it works: The pre-installed TEKchand ATM Agent and

the embedded remote distribution system in the ATMContent

Manager are used to distribute and activate vendor-specific

campaigns and personality files on target ATMs.

Features: The platform acts simply as a trucking company.

Files are delivered and deployed (per vendor requirements

for remote software distribution agents), and job success/fail

status is reported back to server. The Campaign object/files

must be created offline using vendor-specific tools.

pwrHTMlTM CAMpAignSProduct Summary: A solution for management of multi-media campaigns specifically designed for the end-user, enabling powerful

campaign creation, simply and economically, in just minutes. Developed for next-generation Windows-based ATMs and Kiosks built

on Internet friendly software standards such as NCR Aptra Edge™ and Diebold Agilis™. Providing not only the capabilities of the base

content management product where the screen definition in the native ATM application (NDC/91x) controls the screen presentation, the

advanced campaign management product (i.e. “PwrHTMLTM Campaigns”) uses the full power of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML,

JS, etc) to deliver high-impact and targeted marketing campaigns.

Supported Content: NCR PromoteTM Campaigns, Diebold Container and Personality Files

Suitable Ad Points: Depends on support provided by ATM Vendor

ATm mAnAgEr™

ATMPersonalization Manager is a set of add-on programs for

the ATMLive Manager Platform that can be deployed as a stand-

alone solution, or as an integrated component of the ATMContent

Manager application. ATMPersonalization Manager helps enable a

more dynamic and personalized customer experience at the ATM

by integrating the ATM Channel with your core CRM systems and

strategy. The product provides two (2) core functions. First, it’s an

end-to-end, easy to implement solution for managing cardholder

preferences on both legacy state-screen ATMs, as well as

Windows-based ATMs. Second, it’s the underlying architecture for

conducting enhanced CRM functions on ATMs, including targeted

1-to-1 marketing campaigns, and the sending of a personalized

SMS alerts upon execution of ATM transactions.

ATM MAnAger

Currently Supported Devices/Emulations: NCR Aptra Edge v2.04 or higher via Web Services; ALL State-Screen Devices via

Host TG interface; Support for Diebold Agilis via Web Services is planned for release in Q1, 2010.

Device Requirements: Windows OS & TCP/IP for Web Services; Host based support for Base24 and Connex Advantage Terminal

Handlers.


How it works:

Working mechanism differs for NCR APTRA EDGETM & State

Screen based ATMs.

For NCR APTRA EDgETM:

u Interaction with Host is not required. Configuration

parameters for the EDGETM preferences transaction are set

from the Controller Module. TEKchand Agent downloads the

configuration & makes the appropriate NCR Data Dictionary™

changes & enables the NCR Personalization™ Client. The

Personalization™ Client communicates with TEKchand

ATMP-EG Web Services for cardholder preference related

transactions.

For State Screen Based ATMs:

u Interaction with Host is required. ATM Load File is changed to

support the preference transaction set. Host Device Handlers

communicate with the Tekchand Gateway (TG) for all

cardholder preference transaction requests from the device.

TG handles the preferences transaction request and sends a

response packet to the Host with the cardholder preferences

embedded as an OPCODE.

CArdHolder preferenCeSProduct Summary: A complete solution for managing cardholder preferences (Language, Fast Cash, and Receipt) for multi-vendor

Self-Service Terminals—from the capturing of preferences at the device (or via Internet Banking web interface) for storing to a central

database, to the management of preference data for MIS functions via a secure web interface.

Features:

u Cardholders can add preferences at the ATM or via web

interface

u Administrators have full MIS capabilities to View, Manage,

and Report on all cardholder preference data via a web

interface

u The application architecture and cardholder databases

are designed with PCI compliance in mind. PAN numbers

are stored in encrypted form, and can be “masked” for

reporting purposes if required.


Supported Content: Full multi-media graphic support from SWF to Video, Campaign Object contains HTML, CSS, JSP, and XML

files.

Currently Supported Devices/Emulations: All devices that support PwrHTMLTM Campaigns and are web enabled.

Device Requirements: Windows OS, Internet Explorer, .NET 2.0 or higher, & TCP/IP

Additional Requirements: Deployment of this product for 1-to-1 targeted marketing may require professional services depending

on customer requirements for interface with enterprise CRM system and/or cardholder databases. Additionally, ATM configuration file

changes may be required to insert “exits” upon Card Read State to capture PAN# for 1-to-1 targeted marketing.

Release Status: Q1, 2010

How it works:

u The PwrHTMLTM Campaign makes an unsolicited call to

the TEKCRM agent (part of the TEKchand ATM Agent

Stack on device) either on HTML Page Load or Page

unload event as configured during campaign object

creation process to query the server for real-time content

display instructions for the ATM.

u The TEKCRM agent gathers device specific information

along with the PAN number of card-in-session and

forwards an XML request to the TEKCRM Web Service.

u TEKCRM Web Service queries the imbedded CRM DB (or

to a 3rd party CRM server/DB if configured for 3rd party

CRM system processing) for any dynamic or targeted

messages for the ATM or the Cardholder. The XML

response packet is assembled and forwarded to TEKCRM

agent.

u Where the Web Service has requested real-time download

of additional content files for the targeted marketing

message, TEKCRM agent triggers real-time content

download using the TEKchand File Transport System

(TEKFTS) Web Services that uses SOAP/HTTPs to

download the content files from the referenced Content

Server.

pwrCrMTM CAMpAignSProduct Summary: This product enables real-time and 1-to-1 targeted messages for ATMs and Kiosks that support the TEKchand

PwrHTMLTM Campaign Manager product. ATM users will now receive messages that are appropriate, timely, and relevant, allowing

banks to integrate the ATM channel with their overall CRM strategy. The PwrCRMTM product adds a sophisticated front-end (web-

based user interface built on Web 2.0 technologies) and a powerful back-end (TEKCRM Client-Server system built using Web Services

and Open Internet-friendly software standards) specifically designed for Self-Service Terminals. It can manage all CRM and targeted

marketing related functions, including: establishing/loading cardholder profiles, the content library and customer attribute/profile rule

base for targeting messages; establishing 3rd party CRM system connectors; and the development, management, and analysis of a

1-to-1 targeted marketing campaign. Using real-time communication with the CRM server during the transaction and consumer flow, the

PwrCRMTM product makes sure that the intelligent design does not compromise or deprecate the user experience at the ATM.

These and many more ATM-specific factors have been

considered in the design to make the system Open, Secure,

and Multi-Vendor.

Currently Supported Devices/Emulations: Devices with support for cardholder preferences product

Device Requirements: All devices that support the Cardholder Preferences product.


How it works:

Under the cardholder preferences product, a preference

transaction request to the server is triggered upon CARD

INSERT at the device. This transaction is used as a trigger

to send an SMS Alert (via the TEKchand SMS Gateway) to

the phone number stored against the cardholder in the CRM

database. The phone number against a cardholder can be

captured at the ATM as part of establishing the cardholder

preferences, or via internet banking portal.

SMS AlerTSProduct Summary: A complete solution for sending SMS Alerts for cardholder activity at the ATM, for user record keeping as well as

identifying fraud. This solution is only available for devices that support Cardholder Preferences product.

ATMRemote Manager is a client-server system with an intuitive

web-interface for the remote management of Windows-based

ATMs, from EJ Upload and Management, to Remote Deposit

Capture, to Asset and Patch Management. The product can

be licensed as a stand-alone system, or can be combined with

the ATMContent Manager. ATMRemote Manager, like other

TEKchand products, interfaces with the ATM via an agent

developed by TEKchand specifically for ATMs.

TEKchand is working with Novell to interface the Novell

ZENworks® product with the ATMRemote Manager for a

more feature rich and advanced solution for Remote Patch

Management.

ATM MAnAger

Currently Supported Devices/Emulations: Fujitsu, NCR AANDC and Edge, Diebold TCS, TCS Plus, and Agilis.

Device Requirements: Windows and OS2; requires TCP/IP.


How it works:

u TEKchand FileWatcher Service (part of the TEKchand

ATM Agent Stack) monitors the configured folder for EJ

files on a real-time or end-of-day basis (as configured

depending on vendor requirements).

u EJ files are copied or moved to upload folders where the

TEKchand Upload Service moves them to the remote

server via the TEKchand File Transport Service (TEKFTS)

using secure HTTPS/SOAP.

u EJ Parsers on the remote server identify the EJ file by

vendor type and parse the EJ data per vendor standards,

and insert the record to the EJ Database in a single

standard.

u EJ Viewer module provides a web interface for all Search/

Report and other MIS functions for EJ Management.

eJ MAnAgerProduct Summary: A complete solution for uploading, viewing, and managing EJ Data from multi-vendor Self-Service Terminals.

The EJ data is captured in real-time or end-of-day basis and uploaded to the ATMLive Server, where it is normalized to a single

standard and inserted to a secure/encrypted database for Search and Reporting functions.

Features:

u Unified interface for EJ view/search functions for multi-

vendor devices, including legacy OS/2 ATMs

u Secure Upload (SSL) for Windows based devices

u Upload process is guaranteed and persistent

u End of day reports and alerts inform system administrators

if EJ data upload from device(s) or parsing to database

has failed, to allow for pro-active response.

Currently Supported Devices/Emulations: Diebold Agilis™ with RSS 2.x+ and any Windows device where check images are

stored in a local file system (ex: NCR Edge™).

Device Requirements: Windows OS; TCP/IP


How it works:

Standard process (where the Check Images and transaction

data is stored in the local file system of the ATM) is similar

to how things work for the EJ Management product above,

i.e. FileWatcher Service scans the appropriate folder for

new files and uses the Upload service to upload the files to

check image consolidation server in real time in a secure &

guaranteed way. For Diebold Agilis™ ATMs with RSS 2.x

Store & Forward Agent, the Diebold SAF Agent communicates

with the TEK-RSS Web Services using SOAP/HTTP to

forward Check21 XML with Image Attached as batch files.

These batch files are parsed and the XML and images are

converted to appropriate standards for forwarding to a 3rd

party consolidation server for further processing.

reMoTe depoSiT CApTureProduct Summary: A complete solution for uploading and consolidating remote deposit files (check images + xml) from multi-

vendor Windows based Self-Service Terminals. The Check Images are captured in real-time, and uploaded to the ATMLive Image

Consolidation Server. The captured files from different vendors can be translated to a single image format (ex: BMP or GIF) and a

single XML format with transaction data (xml formats vary from vendor to vendor).

Features:

u Acts as middleware for the ATM channel to capture remote

deposit files, reformat them to a single standard, and

move them to the bank/institution central consolidation

server or check processing service.

u Upload process is secure, persistent, and guaranteed.

Currently Supported Devices/Emulations: All Windows based devices

Device Requirements: Windows OS; .NET 2.0 or higher, TCP/IP

Release Status: Currently in Limited Release. General Availability Planned for Q1,2010

How it works:

TEKchand TekEx Agent installed on device uploads System

Info, Registry Info, Patch history, Installed Devices and ATM

Application info, and more from Windows based devices

to build the device inventory information which is available

for MIS functions via the Asset Manager Web GUI. A built-

in Patch Management system allows for the upload of OS

and Application patches (must be MSI patches) to a Patch

Repository. The patches in the patch repository can be

scheduled for distribution and installed on a specific device or

a group of devices, per system admin requirements.

ASSeT MAnAger- liTe Product Summary: Solution for capturing and managing asset inventory information (hardware/software/network/etc) for multi-

vendor Windows OS devices, capturing device logs, and for the remote distribution and install of OS and Application patches. This

solution exclusively uses the TEKchand ATM Agent for all product functions.

Features:

u Fully integrated and robust, while maintaining simplicity

and reliability for basic management functions for

Windows based Self Service Terminals.

u Advanced functions such as vulnerability scanning and

new application and OS installs, are handled via the Asset

Manager- Zen product (see subsequent product details).

Currently Supported Devices/Emulations: All Windows OS devices

Device Requirements: Windows OS; .NET 2.0 or higher; TCP/IP; Requires Active Directory


How it works:

The Novell Zen Manager Web Application and backend

system is integrated and co-located the TEKchand

Application. The Zen Manager solution acts as a standalone

solution that is accessed via the ATMRemote Manager

Web Application. The Zen Manager server hosts a Patch

Repository to download patches and distribute to the

connected ATMs. Devices are bundled together either under

LDAP or using Work Groups, where different policies can be

established and applied. Devices can be set for regular scans

to update asset information, discover vulnerabilities and

remotely apply missing patches per defined policy. Standard

Windows OS patches & Hot-fixes can be set for auto update

to the hosted Patch Repository from the Novell central patch

server. Additional patches, such as 3rd party and ATM vendor

application patches and MSI files can also be managed, and

are uploaded manually to the hosted Patch Repository via a

web interface.

ASSeT MAnAger- Zen

Product Summary: An advanced version of the Asset Manger- Lite product, Novell Zen Manager™ is feature-rich and allows for full

patch and OS management for Windows devices beyond the capabilities of TEkchand’s built-in solution for Patch Management.

u Full Windows OS and Application Patch and configuration

management solution, with enterprise class features and

functions.

u TEKchand uses its experience and expertise to customize

the ZENworksTM solution specifically for ATMs. Asset

Manager- Zen strips functionality inappropriate for a

self service environment, thereby reducing the overall

complexity of the solution.

u ZENworksTM advanced configuration management

capabilities include “remote management, personality

migration, standard operating environment (SOE)

deployment and maintenance, hardware and software

inventory, asset management, optimized application
