• Borgund Stave Church is a stave church located in Borgund, Lærdal, Norway (Northern Europe)

• The Cathedral of Brasília is the Roman Catholic cathedral serving Brasília, Brazil, and serves as the seat of the Archdiocese of Brasília.

• Las Lajas Sanctuary is a minor basilica church located in the southern Colombian Department of Nariño, municipality of Ipiales and built inside the canyon of the Guáitara River.

• Ružica Church (Rose church) is located in the Kalemegdan Fortress, in Belgrade, Serbia. The walls were covered in paintings by Andrej Bicenko, a Russian artist.

• Saint Basil's Cathedral is a Russian Orthodox church erected on Red Square in Moscow in 1555–61 on orders from Ivan the Terrible. It commemorates the capture of Kazan and Astrakhan. St. Basil's marks the geometric center of Moscow.
