Creative, outgoing, independent, confident, hard working individual, with strong career aspects and goals. I have a huge passion for all things design, and use this passion on a daily basis as a means to view the world around me, and am very eager to learn, with any experience given to me being greatly appreciated.

EducationSecondary School - Oakham School (September 2005 May 2010) Left 2010 with 10 GCSEs

3 A-levels1 A - Design2 Bs - Geography, History

Northumbria University 3rd Year BA Hons Industrial Design (September 2011 June 2015) In Process

+447427 125 101 lucas.clay@me.com

Contact Me

Lucas cLayIndustrial Design Portfolio

Skills3D 2D SolidWorks Adobe PhotoshopKeyshot Adobe IllustratorRhino Adobe InDesignModel Making Graphite Sketchwork

Other AchievementsDuke of Edinburgh Gold

I am 1 of 8 members on my Course committee to raise money for our trip to New Designers in 2015

.

Companies I Have Worked With

Work ExperienceInternship: IDAPT (Shenzhen, China)

I really wanted to experience something completely different for my work experience, so I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to travel to Shenzhen and spend 6 months working out there. I was part of the Design and Development team and worked closely with the Head of Design developing new product concepts and ranges as well as being involved with the development of ideas that they were already working on, prior to my arrival.

My TraveL DesTinaTions

..........

..........

......

....

..............

......

..........

......

......

........................

..............

....

..................

......

....

..................

Trips and Places I have lived in the World

Interests

InternshipShenzhen, ChinaApril 2014 - September 2014

Contents PageThese Are My Projects

AT & T 3G 12.38 PM 86%

Vlo Bestow

AT & T 3G 12.38 PM 86% AT & T 3G 12.38 PM 86%

Thank YouFor donating:

2.50To:

AT & T 3G 12.38 PM 86%

Unlock CodePasscode

9 2 7 1

Camera Concept

7KH&DPHUDOHQVLVWKHFRQWUROFHQWUH,WZLOOJXLGHWKHXVHULQWRUHDOLVLQJLGHDOVHWWLQJV$SHUWXUH6KXWWHU6SHHGDQG)RFXVWRWDNH

the optimal photo.

7KH&DPHUDLVDERXWPDNLQJWKLQJVeasier for the user so they can learn DOOWKHVNLOOVDERXW3KRWRJUDSK\

JoyA Non Literal Form, inspired by BMW

Inspiration

Design a non-literal form for BMW, looking at their brand image and projecting it into a form

Luxury Leather High Quality Materials Classic BMW Colours Futuristic Concepts

Inspiration

Sketchwork And Development

CAD Development

CAD Development

Model

...........................................................................

..........................................................................................................................

....................................................

........................................................................... This is highlighted on the lens, as green leds show where the user needs to twist each part of the lens to.

The user then has the opportunity to be educated as to why the camera thinks

the settings needed to be changed to the selected variables.

The user then takes the picture, with the camera set up to take the optimal photo.

The user can then review the photos he/she has taken.

Velo BestowA charitable donation system centred

around cycling

Design a valid busisness proposal to pitch to a panel of judges.
