Graduate teachers Help shape the future of teacher education

All teachers who graduated in 2011 are invited to join with aDeakin University led team to investigate early career progression into teaching.

Through online surveys, the LTEWS project is seeking feedback on the relevance and effectiveness of teacher education for teaching employment.

Teachers interested in taking part should keep an eye out for an email invitation from their state teacher registration authority or contact the researchers by emailing:

Survey responses will inform policy and programs by leading to a better understanding of the experiences of graduate teachers in their first years of work.

The survey is part of an 18 month longitudinal study being conducted byDeakin University on behalf of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
