What does it involve?

• Two-week, full-time, student-led original group research project on COMMUNITY (tbc)

• Mixed disciplines and years• Groups of 5-6 to 1 research supervisor

– Study room– Fixed sessions– Ends with a Research Conference on final

day (5 July)

• I learned a lot about how to think about research topics, specifically in terms of why it would be interesting and how it is different from other previously published topics.

• How to tactfully work in groups, a process by which concepts and questions become fully formed.

• Research involves not only conducting my own experiments and research methods, but doing an extensive amount of background research based on the field's literature.
