It’s About
Huge Progress, So Rapidly…
The number of mobile users grew from 10 million in 2000 to more than 180 million in 2007. Competition among operators produced a race to extend networks to cover more and more people. Coverage increased from 4 percent of the population in 1998 to 62 percent in 2006. The widespread use of prepaid telephone service—the form of payment chosen by 97 percent of consumers in Sub-Saharan Africa—has made services accessible for the first time to low-income households.

And Now?
• 90 % population coverage this year expected, In Africa overall
Antennas Everywhere, And in the Middle of Nowhere

What is SharingAwareness™?
• Project in health education. Teacher training workshops given in Zambia and work beginning in Ghana Feb 8th 2010

• Development aid• Managed by MKFC Stockholm College, Sweden
For Example – eLearning in Practise
• Short example when educating in Ndola, Zambia
• This is how it goes;– Short discussion– Group works activated– Extra material shared– Presentations given– Recordings made– Making video and producing DVD’s – in minutes
-> For lifelong eLearning
Main Problem in Development Aid Projects
• That they are projects – with a beginning and an END
• How to root the work into the society, how to raise up a local commitment – to guarantee that the work continues regardless of the existence of foreign help?
One Answer - CAP work in Ghana
“In a community where hope seemed lost, our children were constantly ill, our mothers and wifes were always tired. The community was polluted, we could not sit outside, for mosquitoes plagued the environment. We had given up hope. But we never thought that through the simple steps of Sharing Awareness, we could change our community! Our children are healthier, our mothers and wifes' now sit outside and laugh with each other. Our community has changed! and now we know if we can, you can too!”
By The Chief of Niliyungdo Bimbila District, Northern Ghana comments on local changes for better health and living conditions, brought out by the village people together with the local MKFC CAP Team.

This was a descripition of our battle for human rights for lifelong learning.

more and more lives from completely needless deaths.
