Welcome to the Extraterrestrial Interlude of my WYDC, starring none other than Dr. Zeevil. But this isn't just a spin-off of UFO Hunters, Beatrix pops out some more human babies as well! So...where to start:

Ever since Emery "mini-Ashley" was born, I began to apply very adhesive glue to the telescope every night just as Zee arrived home from work. He soon earned his Science hobby card and a visit from Carmen Patch's psycho estranged sister.

With Zee's constant searching for UFOs during his off hours, Beatrix fell into the position of lead parent. She helped Delilah learn to study and taught Emerson all of his toddler skills

Although little Emery often cornered Zee on his way out in the morning to read him a Dr. Seuss book :) And Zee always made the rounds of tucking in the kids after finishing up his night with the telescope - of course he never stops thinking about Trixie.

At some point during Zee's love affair with the telescope, Betheny came home from work with a promotion to Mime, maxing out her teen career. With both Addie and Betheny as teens, I also decided that my teen rule for getting shipped off to college was anytime after maxing their careers. Which meant both were ripe for the picking...

With all the time alone Zee spent on the balcony searching for other forms of life, he started to fall into a deep depression - a solace poor Zee just couldn't handle anymore. And we all know what happens when a lonely simmy needs a good 'ole pal to talk to - he received a visit from the social bunny!

Hippity Hoppity Pinkie must've misjudged his falling angle for the Scarlett's balcony...

But beheadings do not get in the way of a very needed game of 'Punch U Punch Me'. I would've pegged Zee as a yellow social bunny kind of guy, but I guess he's a softie even more than I thought :-D

It just so happened that Finn had just been born earlier that evening. So Beatrix was prime and ready for a simulated genetic merger with HHP (Hippity Hoppity Pinkie!)... except for the itsy bitsy little hang up that we had 8 sims in the house. So I did what was necessary in times of quick thinking:

I found wallflower Addie downstairs cleaning - what else do 10 neat pointers do? - and rapidly ushered her off to college. Which explains the pathetic lack of pictures I have of her :(

Don't worry we'll see her again in college. Besides now we have room for a bunny child!

Of course, Zee being the sweetheart he is, ran after Addie to bid her farewell, and his own social bunny mocks his evil run down the stairs! The nerve!

So as soon as Addie was speeding towards Academie La Tour, I busted out the tombstone and heard the lullaby of baby G on the way.

A little while later, I realized that it may not be kosher with the rules since Beatrix was not able to interact with the bunny - Zee was. So I may have an illegal rabbit in the Scarlett residence... But my judgment was clouded by excitement so it was not an intentional rule violation :(

So despite my elation for a bunny baby acquired by questionable means, life in the Scarlett house chugged along. Soon it was time for Cullen to do the teen twirl and lend a hand with the diaper changes and 2 hour feedings.

Just later that evening, Zee was summoned by the mother ship... And I was already looking for 'H' names while his needs were flickering like a light bulb. But silly me, I obviously could not do the math that:

Bea + Zee + B through F + G on the way = 8! So poor Zee's 1st extraterrestrial adventure was just for practice :-D

When Zee was dropped off back at the house, Betheny & Trixie ran out to worry while Cullen laughed it up and trashed talked to Zee's abductors. For a child that Zee doted on constantly, I would expect a bit more sensitivity out of Cullen. Tsk Tsk.

Despite some 'lower back pain' and a case of the frights, he returned just as he had left... unfertilized due to my poor arithmetic :(

Yup, Zee was same old Zee - heart farting Beatrix and repressing disturbing memories with her face in his thought bubble. Perhaps now would be a good time to introduce Zeeshan McMillan Scarlett formally, seeing as I've never listed his stats:

Zee and I were distraught, although not for the same reasons. But if at first you don't succeed? Try, try again!

And that is just what we did. But let's back up a bit, because we don't want to miss out on the non-alien babies and more farewells (since there was no point in me sending Zee to the telescope if there was no room in the house for another nooboo.)

Following Addie's rushed departure from the household, I vowed that I would take more pictures of my current teens - just in case I had to rush another out of the house. Do you remember Mr. Knuckles, the eldest girls' worm rat? He was a 'stay quiet' bribe for Addie, but Betheny actually fed him and played with him much more. I decided that she should take Mr. Knuckles with her when she left for college since none of the other kids had any interest in him and I couldn't bear for him to starve.

So now that Betheny had a more lively teen to conspire with (sorry Addie - but you were such a wallflower!), the house was much more entertaining. I could always find them playing SSX3 together, telling dirty jokes, or gossiping about poor 'ole Zee. Ironically, Betheny had a higher relationship with Zee than Trixie - so she must just be bonding with her brother who has a big goose egg in his relationship panel for Zee.

Delilah, like Cullen, also didn't even care to acknowledge Zee's existence. In fact, the only relationship she had at ALL was with Beatrix. Perhaps it was due to her spoiled, center-of-attention demeanor... Don't let the fact that she plays with little Ashley, erm Emerson, and his bunny toy fool you - she has a mean streak!

The day finally came that I had stalled enough with keeping Betheny in the house - Trixie was about to pop with baby G and it was time to get working on the extraterrestrial baby. So it's off to ALT with Betheny to join Addie. You're high-energy personality will be missed by all...

...Especially Cullen! He apparently was not too happy with discovering he was in a house full of kids. I let him mope around the house for another day and finally caved in and sent him away to ALT (even though I broke my rule of maxed teen careers as Cullen never found a job).

Bye Cullen! Sorry we didn't have time to snap your traditional cab-out-of-here shot, but Trixie was on her way to toddler toss Finn!

If you remember, Finn's daddy is Castor Nova & I'd say he turned out to be a cutie pie!

So still left in the house are Bea (carrying baby G), Delilah, Emerson & Finn - all shown here in the nursery. Where's Zee, you ask?

Taking an alien vacation - with a complementary fertilization! Delilah was the only one who seemed concerned about his freefall from the space ship, but he seemed to make it in one piece.

Now, THIS is where I begin to become increasingly frustrated. NO LULLABY. Seriously, I did the math (Bea + Zee + D through F + unborn baby G = 6) and there should be room for 2 new nooboos! Zee's life bar has 12 days til elder, so the only possible explanation is that Trixie is carrying triplets - I have that mod. At this point I decided to be patient and wait the few hours until Beatrix was due to deliver...

Not more than 4 hours later, Beatrix started the shoo flee dance. IT'S A GIRL! Gisella Scarlett born Monday @ 3:30am. Gisella = 'pledge, hostage' (just as we held her daddy the pink social bunny hostage until we insured a Boolprop pregnancy)

But guess what, it was a SINGLE birth. I think Zee was secretly hoping for triplets so that he could delay his next rendezvous with the aliens until Delilah grew up and got the boot.

If you noticed in the last picture Emery grew up into a child - yes, I have no photos of this sparkle-filled transition. Oops! I'm happy that there's now someone around to put 'lil Miss Delilah in her place - or at least try.

So life at the Scarlett house chugged along: both Delilah & Emery brought home A+ report cards and Finn learned all of his toddler skills, throwing some adorable faces in the process :)

With two mean children in the house, poor Finn took his fair share of tormenting and teasing, usually from Emery.

Sweet Finn took it in strides, as long as he had his crayons he was a happy camper. Delilah was also surprisingly protective of him...

Always there to cheer him up with a game of Peek-a-Boo. She also made sure to make Emery pay for picking on him...

Of course she did so in a more subtle way :-D

Things weren't fun and games for Zee, he spent night after night at the telescope with no bites. I was starting to worry that with 2 abductions already, a third would be very unlikely - UNTIL he was taken again!

With all of Zee's time spent either at work or at the telescope, Trixie was taking care of 2 kids, a toddler and a baby. I had held off on getting her knocked up because I didn't want any roadblocks to my alien baby. Delilah was the one who had to break it to her that Zee was on another vacation in the sky over breakfast.

It was later that night when Emery and Delilah ran out to welcome back Zee. Does he come back with child??? Well, since this update grew much longer than I planned I will leave that for next time! Can you believe all that drama and only 1 child born?? Geez, I'm going to have to crack the whip on the Scarletts and get this WYDC moving along!
