Traffic lights, Parking lot entrance/exit gates , Subway doors, Subway exits, Mail boxes. Stove switch, ATM machine, Mouth/Eyes, Zip, Faucets. They are interesting to me because they are ordinary, we are so used to them we kind of forget they all can be switched on and off. Traffic lights, Parking lot gates keep the order of the society. Subway exits and doors indicate you are exiting a journey and entering another. Mail boxes indicate waiting and expecting. Mouth could spill out the words that hurt, comfort, inspiring…Eyes could witness and communicate, etc, etc.

Taking pictures of these objects definitely shed a new light on them and I start thinking their roles in our lives. Some of these things may be big, some of them may be small, but the differences and the impact of switching on and off is equally significant, they constitute our fabric of life.
