and for Easter Granny or grandma who brings presents. She

gives colored eggs, a chocolate Easter Bunny and sometimes some money.

Before Easter, is the fourty-day period Lent , which in Lithuania is called –

Gavėnia.

Easter(Šv.Velykos) is celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon in

spring. It lasts five days.

We sing traditional Easter songs and say different rhymes.
