Set Induction1. Teacher shows realia of laptop, mobile phone and ipad.

Pre Listening1. Teacher asks questions based on the realia. 2. Teacher explains generally about the uses of technology.

While Listening1. Pupils will be listening to a dialogue between two people. (A salesman and a customer.)2. Pupils will listen once.3. Then teacher will distribute worksheet. 4. Teacher explains what needs to be done by the pupils.5. Pupils will complete the worksheet while listening to the dialogue again.

Post Listening (Speaking)1. Teacher goes through the answer to the worksheet together with pupils.2. The class will be divided into pairs: A and B.3. Pair A will become the salesman and pair B will be the customers.4. Pair A will describe the uses of the item to be sell and Pair B will be asking questions.5. They may refer to the worksheet given before.6. Then, both pairs will change roles. Pair A - customer, Pair B salesman. 7. Teacher will also change the item to be sell.8. Teacher will pick a few pairs and asks them to act it out in front using the realia.

Closure1. Teacher recaps on what the pupils have learnt and ask WH-questions.

A Dialogue between Salesman And CustomerSalesman: Good evening Sir/Madam.Customer: Good evening. Salesman: How may I help you?Customer: I would like to buy a device.Salesman: What kind of device would you like to buy?Customer: Emmm Im not sure. Do you have any suggestions? Salesman: There are two devices here. This one is a computer and this one is a mobile phone.Customer: Oh ok. Which one do you think is better?Salesman: Both have different uses. A computer can type and print documents. It can also send and receive emails.Customer: Oh, wow! What about the mobile phone?Salesman: A mobile phone can make calls and send messages. I has a camera, so it can take pictures.Customer: How much does it cost?Salesman: The computer costs RM 1,000 and the mobile phone costs RM 500.Customer: I would like to buy the mobile phone because it is small and light. I can carry it around with me. The price is also cheaper than the computer.Salesman: How about the computer Sir/Madam?Customer: No, I dont want to buy it because it is big and heavy. I cannot carry it around with me. The price is also more expensive than the mobile phone.Salesman: Ok, Sir/Madam. It would be RM 500.Customer: Here you go.Salesman: Thank you Sir/Madam. Here is your mobile phone. Please come again.
