Logos
This project was done in Adobe Illustrator. It is a
logo for the genre of music called witch house. They
always use cool shapes and creepy/funky things
that I find interesting! I drew that girl with the blob
paint tool, along with the branches. The moun-
tains are made out of shapes and the circular logo
is made of all circles with hints of colorful stars.
The audience is very modern and looking for new
things. I feel that the bold shapes totally draw that
audience in. For this one I did not incorporate colors
other than the orange stars. I know that will result
in a docked grade, but I did it specifically for the au-
dience. They are looking for bold, simple and dark.
These black logos would be placed on a grey or
psychedelic colored background, that is why I had to
make them strictly this grey-ish black. Mountains: 4
Circle: 1 Girl: 3 My favorite logo is the girl on the
branch. The mountains would appeal to the audience
a lot, but I think the branch and the girl accurately
portray the appeal of something new.

Stationery
For this project, I didnt want to just creat a basic
header and footer, so I looked up basic full page
stationery projects, and then I researched what
some modern-art surf elements were like, and I
found a great number of tribal and aztec prints, so
from what I learned, I created this. This
stationery is fun to write on, and invites you right
to the beach! In InDesign, I simply drew all of this
out with the paint tool. I change the brush size to
get smaller and thicker lines, and to help me fill
things in properly.

Business Card
For this business card, I used InDesign and and
applied my stationery project to the face, and then
a simple hang-loose and contact info on the back
Doing a buiness card seemed extremely more
intimidating than it turned out to be, and for that I
was extremely grateful!
I incorporated the use of a hang loose sign that I
found online. I sketched the general idea of that
hang loose sign in Illustrator, therefore making it
my own, and then brough that back into InDesign
where I finished of the deisgn.
I left the back side of the brochure a transparent
pink, because the back of the front side of the
brochure is white, and the white background in
InDesign was therefore, unneccesary.

Brochure
I made this advertisement in Adobe Photoshop.
I changed the overall color of the picture to be a
little more yellow because I thought that made the
overall presentation stand out more to its
audience. I spent a lot of time with the lasso tool
when I was making the logo in the bottom corner.
I got the whole in the middle of the flower, but then
I had to make a change and decided to fill it in with
green instead. I really enjoyed using Photoshop.
I want to become an advanced Photoshop user.
This project took a lot of time but I loved every bit
of it. The color scheme I used was analagous;
yellow, lime, green. The original image can be
found on my blog as well.

Flier
This was the first Adobe project I ever did in my
life. It was very exciting to embark on a new
adventure, and with this project, my mind was
opened to so many more opportunities for
creation with this softwars.
For this project, I used my knowledge of the rule
of thirds to help me get a good layout, and then
I changed the black opacity levels to successfully
incorporate different shades of black and grey in
this project. The execution was on-point with how
I hoped it would be.

Event Ad
For this project we used Word. This was not an
easy task. I knew exactly how I wanted my project
to look, and due to a lack of know-how, my project
turned out nothing like it. Id be lying if I said I wasnt
still proud of my efforts; this project took a lot of
time and effort, and I was just grateful it turned
out. I have definitely found favor in the adobe
programs over Word.
For this assignment, I knew that my execution
would be a tad rough at least, and so I decided to
use the rule of thirds to best help my design idea. I
used my knowledge of color scheming and
simplifying to find the best look for my event
advertisement.

Montage
This Photoshop project has been my most favor-
ite to do, because I was able to incorporate every
part of me and the things that I love and make up
who I am inside. This project was to be a spiritu-
al project. It was my first independent montage. I
explored Photoshop for a while to figure out how
to resize images that I lassoed onto the main pic-
ture. I played with the moving around of different
layers so that I achieve a more consistent texture
and look to my overall project. There are 5 images
in this picture. The message is to love all and serve
all. I believe that it comes across very nicely be-
cause the nature all flows together and it shows
how we all flow together and help each other to
make one, big, beautiful picture. The image be-
low is what my project originally looked like, and I
was thinking so hard about how I could get the red
mountain behind the black and white image. The
lasso tool has become my new best friend.
