Guide lines for Lecture Notes
1.
.Al l lectur e Notes are to be arr anged unit wi se as per the main perf orma2. Al l lecture notes must have source of information including text book with page number if any, reference book
or any paper from jour nal s so that students can be benefi ted from the same.
3.
I t i s suggested that a l ecture note of a descri ptive topic can be 1 to 4 normal pages / lecture containing
important defi niti ons, connected theories, scienti fi c discoveri es, h istorical events, practical signi fi cance &
appli cations and all other salient points of the topic.
4.
I t is preferred that these lectur es are supported by f igures, tables, graphs and PPT.
5.
I n case of Mathematical or Numeri cal subject lecture note should contain, important defi niti ons, assumptions,
deri vations, related fi gures and at least 1or more numerical problems to be covered in class. PPT of these
lectures wil l be preferred. Numerical problems solved in the class should be diff erent fr om solved examples
available in the text books and examples given in the tutor ial sheets.
6. At the end of each unit a lecture on a topic beyond the syllabus coveri ng advancements should be prepared and
delivered

Guide lines Quiz sheet
1. Two quiz evaluations are to be conducted in a unit i.e. six evaluations per semester.
2. A quiz may in variably contain 50 objective type questions relating to the fundamentals of the
subject.
3.
These quiz papers are to be scheduled and notified to the students well in advance.

Three home assignments per semester are to be given to each students distributed uniformly i.e. one assignment per unit.

It is suggested that three surprise test may be conducted during the semester.
2. Date and contents of surprise tests will be decided by the concerned teacher. In no case the dates and contents of the test

After the test attached performa of the course file should be duly filled up and question paper must become the part of
course file.
