Youth Discovery Inc Is a local non-profit organization whose
mission is dedicated to helping Latino youth discover and
achieve their highest potential.

The
Latino
Initiative
The Youth Discovery Latino Initiative is a K-
16 educational pathway program dedicated
to increase opportunities for underserved
youth, their families, and our community.
By making use of local connections and
resources to provide guidance, networking, and
engagement opportunities, the Latino Initiative
empowers participants to envision and build
intergenerational and intercultural chains of
knowledge and support that will strengthen ties
throughout the valley and carry our community
into a future where students are achieving their
OUR VISION
Tests scores are 25 points
lower than their peers
35 % drop out of high school
Nationally, only 7% of graduate
degrees are earned by
minority youth
Only 10% of those graduate post-secondary
education
