ladysmith family restaurant review -- a wisconsin place

My dad and sisters lived here for over 10 years, so I showed up in Ladysmith quite a bit. Last year May, I ate lunch at the Ladysmith Family Restaurant shortly before driving four hours back to Green Bay, my hometown. Then, I came back this year and ate at the restaurant with my mom. Chances are, I will end up eating here again in the future. In another “emergency review” I wrote about this place while on site last year, I mention that this plant is the first thing I noticed . It's as if this tree invites you in, and you can’t miss it because it sits in your vision line when you walk into the front door. The only con about plant placement is the fact that it’s hard to take a picture of it with the bulletin board behind it. Still, I think it’s very nice to see when you first enter. My Time at the Ladysmith Family Restaurant in 2013 and 2014 My before, during and after shot you see to the left will prove to you I ate every bite of the burger I bought. I didn’t eat breakfast, so I had a few extra calories to spare. I also had this basic but attractive salad. I savored every bit of that messy, juicy hot sandwich, and I crunched on fresh, crisp veggies. They cooked the meat just right and didn’t serve me rotten produce. May 2013 May 2014 I didn’t take any pictures this time, but since my mom and me filled up on nuts on the four- hour ride. Therefore, I just ordered (if I remember right) chicken dumpling soup. My mom ordered a burger. We split it in half and had some fries. I think the burger tasted better the first time, but that’s probably because this time I didn’t go on an empty stomach. However, I appreciated the home-style soup after traveling four hours. About the Ambiance & My Experience It appears rather new, and the interior décor makes you feel like you’re at home. It’s not too cluttered inside and you get plenty of sunlight if you sit by the window. I also mention in another review how comfortable the booths are. I also like the wood-grained beams and plant strands that run through the booth rails. They also allow you to use an outlet if you say you need to charge your computer or phone. Oh, and it’s a clean place. I hardly saw a speck of dirt in the bathroom when I used it, and the staff keeps up the dining area quite nicely. Of course, I didn’t come at the most busy time, but still. It does appear as if they place cares about making their customer comfortable. The hostess (and no I’m not talking about the plant again) greeted us with a smile. What I Wish Was Different Ladysmith doesn’t have a Perkins Family Restaurant. Therefore, for the people looking for that sort of thing, the Ladysmith Family Restaurant would be the next best option. However, I would’ve liked it to be a little less like a chain establishment. I prefer to eat at smaller, unique places that don’t copy other diners. My Overall Opinion – Like and Recommend If you’re looking for a place that’s almost guaranteed to cook your food right, this place would suit you well. They have a variety of menu items from burgers to waffles, to ham to salads and entries; they have at least one item everyone would like. Furthermore, they have Wi-Fi and don’t mind if you use it while you’re eating. They didn’t mind that I had quite a bit of work to do while I was there. That was nice. I’d recommend this place for family vacations, of course. However, I’m single and still feel comfortable eating here. They seem to treat everyone the same whether married, having kids or not having kids.

Page 1: Ladysmith Family Restaurant Review -- A Wisconsin Place

My dad and sisters lived here for over 10 years, so I showed up in Ladysmith quite a bit. Last year May, I ate lunch at the Ladysmith Family Restaurant shortly before driving four hours back to Green Bay, my hometown. Then, I came back this year and ate at the restaurant with my mom. Chances are, I will end up eating here again in the future.

In another “emergency review” I wrote about this place while on site last year, I mention that this plant is the first thing I noticed. It's as if this tree invites you in, and you can’t miss it because it sits in your vision line when you walk into the front door. The only con about plant placement is the fact that it’s hard to take a picture of it with the bulletin board behind it. Still, I think it’s very nice to see when you first enter.

My Time at the Ladysmith Family Restaurant in 2013 and 2014

My before, during and after shot you see to the left will prove to you I ate every bite of the burger I bought. I didn’t eat breakfast, so I had a few extra calories to spare. I also had this basic but attractive salad. I savored every bit of that messy, juicy hot sandwich, and I crunched on fresh, crisp veggies. They cooked the meat just right and didn’t serve me rotten produce.

May 2013

May 2014 I didn’t take any pictures this time, but since my mom and me filled up on nuts on the four-hour ride.

About the Ambiance & My Experience

It appears rather new, and the interior décor makes you feel like you’re at home.

What I Wish Was DifferentLadysmith doesn’t have a Perkins Family Restaurant. Therefore, for the people looking for that sort of thing, the Ladysmith Family Restaurant would be the next best option. However, I would’ve liked it to be a little less like a chain establishment. I prefer to eat at smaller, unique places that don’t copy other diners.
