CONFIGURING DEVICES on the AS/400

Automatic by turning on QAUTOCFG (set to 1)operator plugs in device and turns it onSYSTEM configures and assigns name

After the device creation turn QAUTCFG off (0)else it might at the next IPL create extraneous device descriptions
