Our Core Values

Mission & Vision Our mission and purpose outline who we are, what we seek to achieve, and how we want to achieve it. They provide a clear direction for KIOS and help ensure that we are all working toward the same goals.

Mission

We strive to be the best in class, while promoting family, teamwork and a dedication to construction excellence. At KIOS we strive for success not only with our clients and Solutions but internally as well, we like to call this “doing the right thing.”

Vision The Company is guided by its culture of family, where each of our talented associates are committed to the fact that we are in business to produce “best in class” projects with clients who share in our ideals of teamwork and professionalism.

KIOS is not a firm that tries to be all things to all people. Our strategy for growth is centered around maximizing opportunities within our core markets on a local and regional level.

Safety

Safety Is Our First Priority.

KIOS considers Safety a primary component in the planning

process where each project site and the work to be

performed are evaluated. That way safety issues can be

addressed long before any work begins. We've also made

safety the cornerstone of our everyday work ethic. We

consider it an on-going, on-site, real-time process based on

four major components:

Accountability

Checks and Balances

Educating

Safety

Accountability

• where everybody is required to be safety conscious, including Project Managers, Superintendents and Subcontractors

Checks and Balances

• where we contract outside, dedicated consultants to walk and evaluate each site and report their findings to KIOS management

Educating

• with updated safety manuals based on more than just the "must haves" – including real-world construction practices that go beyond what is "expected" or commonly considered "the norm"

Customer Service

Customer service is more than just a catch phrase at KIOS. To

us, it means cultivating and maintaining strong relationships

by collaborating with our clients to understand their needs

and help them achieve their goals from the start.

Maybe that means changing our plans to minimize disruption

to a business or simply understanding that quality services

mean providing prompt and accurate information without

the client having to ask.

We do not consider a project a success unless our client is

completely satisfied. It is this attitude that has led to repeat

business and high-quality work.

Sustainability

Sustainability, A Formula For Everybody’s Success.

KIOS embraces the needs of the environment in which we

all live and work. We are fully committed to the

implementation of work practices that conform to “Go

Green " principles.

In accordance with KIOS 's on-going support of Green

Solutions, we are continually assessing cost-effective

sustainable materials and practices in order to keep

employees and clients better informed of environmentally-

friendly alternatives.

and comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

We believe that adherence to this policy will ensure

continued success as well as earn and maintain the

confidence of clients and the community at large.

In order to ensure compliance to this policy, the company

Waste Management

Waste Management

KIOS is committed to reducing waste throughout its client’s

operations. Waste has the potential to impact on the

environment in three different ways:

Unnecessary consumption of resources

Unnecessary consumption of resources in disposing of

waste

Pollution of the environment by the disposal of waste

KIOS believes that there is considerable scope for reducing

waste and making substantial progress towards the overall

goal of eliminating waste and therefore impact to the

environment. Consequently, KIOS will actively seek and trial

methods that reduce and/or eliminate waste streams and

contribute to this overall goal.

Waste Management Hierarchy

Wastes resulting from operational activities on the rig shall be

managed in accordance with the principles of the Waste

Management Hierarchy. In this way the risks to the natural

environment and personnel associated with waste handling,

storage and eventual disposal shall be minimized.

The Waste Management Hierarchy is represented in the form

of the pyramid below:

•By considering waste generation and consequences during the planning stage and also at the outset of activities

PREVENT

• Eliminate / reduce waste generation where possible

REDUCE

•Re-use materials where feasible

RE-USE

•Recycle/recover materials where suitable re-cycling streams are available

Segregation & Collection of

Waste

An important aspect of our waste management programs is

the need to segregate waste materials according to their

general physical and chemical characteristics. Apart from

safety concerns, an initial waste categorization will help

determine which waste streams are similar and may be

combined to simplify storage, treatment, recycling, and/or

disposal, and which streams should remain segregated.

Failure to recognize the need for waste segregation may

result in the creation of a waste mixture incompatible with

the desired recycling or disposal option.

The waste recycling / disposal sub-contractor(Due our Local

Content Commitment we will use as much as possible locals

from the operational area) utilized by KIOS, will be subject to

stringent controls including initial comprehensive assessments

before contract award and performance monitoring during

operations, including formal audit and site inspection.

All wastes generated by the client will initially be segregated

into the following types:

Hazardous

Non Hazardous

Segregation & Collection of

Waste

Waste is collected according to the name of the waste

stream and classification of the waste itself and segregated

on the well site to:

Comply with current KRG legislation and MNR rules and

guidelines. Allow effective management at the disposal

facility and any interim locations and comply with the KIOS

Waste Management Procedure.

Local Content Management

KIOS supports local service providers/Individuals with industrial

partnering in the whole KRI. Our niche expertise is Kurdistan's

local content management in the energy industry.

The Kurdistan's content legislation was enacted in 2012 and is

today closely monitored by the MNR. This legislation stipulates

the need for industrial partnerships between foreign and

indigenous Kurdish companies and individuals. As a operator,

compliance with the local content legislation is fundamental.

With the right industrial partner and supplier base, we ensure

that the local service providers proposals will be evaluated

more favorably than competing offers which have little or no

local content. Today, companies that do not integrate

sufficient levels of local content in their proposals are

excluded from the bid process.

Local Content Management

We support the local service companies or individual service

provider as suitable industrial partner and integrate the

necessary local content in your supply chain by managing

the services on international standards.

KIOS will also help you quantify and qualify the overall

Kurdistan content value of your proposals so that in turn our

clients can consolidate it across their supplier base and

demonstrate compliance with the current rules and

regulations.

Local Content Management

To summarize it:

We act as “agent “ between the

operator and the local individuals to

comply with MNR rules and regulations

and to meet the standards of the

operator, regarding HSE and

administrational requirements.

We make a local individual, who want

to provide a service to the operator

professional and act also as sole focal

point for the local individuals and the

operator to avoid any occurrences

that might endanger operations
