Lebanon

The Lebanese Civil War was a war in Lebanon between the Christians and the Muslims, lasting from 1975 to 1990 and resulting in an estimated 120,000 fatalities.

South Africa

“The news switched to a story about South Africa – blacks rioting there and dying wholesale in battles with police over the policies of the white supremacist government.” (pg. 196)
