Pupil ambassadors from P5 promoted cyberwellness issues at a school exhibition through quizzes and video screenings and promotional materials were distributed to their peers. By involving these pupil ambassadors, key points were delivered from a perspective that their fellow schoolmates could better identify with.

Our pupils from the Chinese Orchestra, Choir, and Dance put up a perform-ance at the NEA 10th Anniversary Community Exhibition in September. The experience was enriching and priceless as it allowed them to gain more courage and confidence to display their musical talents in public.

UK visitorsOn 8 Oct, we welcomed two visitors from the United Kingdom. They were Mrs Claire Jordan, Deputy Head Teacher, and Mr Iain Knox, Senior Manager for Year 6 and ICT co-ordinator. They were from St Mary and St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School respectively.

Lively discussions were held to explore collaboration between the two schools. In addition, they observed our teachers’ lessons, and also shared and exchanged useful teaching ideas and strategies.

The staff presented their projects which tested out innovative and interesting ideas to improve their teaching and learning.

The KCS staff went on a retreat to Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and tried out the challenging tasks in the Amazing Race which was organised by the Staff Welfare Committee. It was certainly no mean feat to try to accomplish the activities but the staff had fun and managed to complete the activities and race in good time.

The English Language Department collaborated with the National Library Board (NLB) to bring the library to the school each term. We hope that our pupils will develop the passion for reading and make reading their way of life.
