Kinder Start Graduation

Last week Mrs Hamilton, Ms McKinnon and Mrs Newbigging

hosted a party lunch celebrating the graduation of this years

Kinder Start students, they sang Christmas songs and danced,

the performances were very entertaining. The children each

received a certificate and a bag of goodies to share with their

families. It is exciting getting to know our little people. Our

learn.

Mrs Hamilton is very proud of all the students, the progress they have made and the friendships that have been

created. We are very thankful to the families for their ongoing support and assistance and we are looking forward to

Remembrance Day On 11 November three students from Year 6 represented the school at the Remembrance Day ceremony. It was a moving occasion with the students also placing poppies to remember each member of our community who fell in World War I. This was an important time for Australia 100 years ago, with the Battle of Beersheba just ended. A number of Narromine's light horsemen fought in that famous battle. At the same time, in Belgium, a dreadful battle was going on that became known as Passchendaele. There were 12 000 Australians killed in about twelve weeks. Mr Webb would like to thank Amy Smith, Chloe Corderoy and Abigail Ballhausen for coming in on a Saturday to represent our school. Many thanks also to their parents for bringing them in. - Jock Webb AP Stage 3 Excursion 2018 A reminder to parents and carers of students in Stage 3 2018 – the $100 deposit for the excursion to Illawarra/Mogo in Term 1 2018 is due by Monday 11 December (week 10) to secure your child’s place on the excursion in 2018.
