100% Employee-Owned for over 17 years March 10, 2017 Celebrating our 136th anniversary!

Cleanliness breeds satisfaction, and conveys an organized professional image. You know the feeling when you walk into spotless, lemony-fresh room? It makes you happy because you know you're walking into a clean space. It also improves energy and overall satisfaction!

Dirty and cluttered spaces adversely affect morale. Keeping your workspace clean helps maintain a better image in front of our employees and our customers. It's important to make a good impression on customers when visiting our locations.

Overflowing trash, dirty floor & windows, and disorganized desks send a clear mes-sage - you’re overwhelmed or otherwise lacking professionalism. Let's not kid our-selves... clients know how hard it is to work

efficiently in a dirty, cluttered and disorganized environment. A messy workspace might bring your ability to prioritize into question. Our cus-tomers want a company that can handle their orders swiftly and efficiently.

Keeping things clean also helps to stop the spread of germs, helping employees take fewer sick days. On average, sick days cost U.S. busi-nesses more than $225 billion dollars each year, and result in a 54% loss in productivity.

Our goal is to look our best by March 20th, the first day of Spring!

Promote employee-health by keeping your work environment clean; you'll reap the rewards by taking fewer sick days. A nickel's worth of pre-vention is worth a hundred dollars of cure.

All Corrected W-2 & 1095-c Forms Arriving Today Today your location will be receiving a physical package containing updates to those employees' W-2 & 1095 forms that were previously missing information. Not everyone's forms were affected - but if you receive these updates today, please include them with your original W-2 and 1095c when you file with your accountant or other method of tax submission. If you have already filed your tax returns, you shouldn't need to refile, since these are merely informational fields... BUT feel free to consult your accountant or tax advisor to confirm this. Please email [email protected] with any questions.

UpdateOn the K2K / E-Commerce front, several tasks have now been completed in Komet: a. The Kennicott/Komet e-commerce portal is moving

along nicely; it is planned to be rolled out to 10 of Milwaukee’s customers in the coming week.

b. Vendors for whom we want to publish inventory directly through our e-commerce portal can now be turned on and off per location. This allows locations to pick and choose which vendors product they want to offer to their e-commerce customers.

c. A feature to enable cut-off times per vendor and location has now been implemented. This ensures that customers will not be able to order product that can’t arrive to their location on time.

d. Branding of the e-commerce site as "South America Order Xpress" (not Komet) has been completed. Like Holland Order Xpress, this will be a Kennicott brand.

Please direct any questions on Komet to Nikki Roth at [email protected].

Brandy West, Chicago, participated in the Purple Plunge in Lake Zurich, IL on March 4th. She and the other participants helped raise $41,000 for cancer research!

Participants have frolicked in frosty Lake Zurich at Breezewald Park's beach to raise money for the American Cancer Society on the first Saturday in March

since 2014. The event has raised about $67,000 for the national cancer organization, Purple Plunge founder Paul Hunt said.

Arnold's Movie ReviewLogan

It's the near future. The school and the X-Men are gone, save for Charles and Logan and neither of them are in great shape. But a young mutant is about to send both of them on a journey that will have them paying the

ultimate price. This seems a fitting end to the franchise, having the young take over for the old. showing just how far a person will go for a "cure".

I give it three and a quarter roses.~ Arnold (Kennicott Chicago)
