(UPT)– 1.2 Miles– $45M - Tiger Grant Funding ($4.3M Local Funding)– Construction will begin August 2011– Revenue Date June 2012

• Phase II – French Quarter Loop– Canal Street to Press Street (With an amendment to Poland Avenue)– 1.18 Miles – $75M – Revenue Tax Bond– Current Final Design– Construction Scheduled for the Fall of 2012

• Phase III – Convention Center Loop– 1.2 Miles– Future Funding will be applied for under the Federal Transit Administration

Transit Oriented Development• Proposed Mixed-Use: What type of Mixed-Use

Developments are being proposed along the Loyola Corridor:

– Rouse’s Supermarket Development – Local gourmet grocer converting site into a 40,000sf upscale, full service market. Expected completion early 2011.

– “Champion’s Square” Sports/Entertainment District – Redevelopment of former New Orleans Center Mall into a 90,000sf outdoor sports/entertainment retail district by Saints ownership. Currently in planning stages.

– Benson Tower Redevelopment – 485,000sf Class-A Office tower undergoing $83 million renovation by Saints ownership, to be completed in late 2010. 2/3 of space pre-leased to State of LA.

Transit Oriented Development• Proposed Mixed-Use: What type of Mixed-

Use Developments are being proposed along the Loyola Corridor:

– Hyatt Hotel Redevelopment - $270 million redevelopment of 1,193 room hotel will expand meeting space to 200,000sf and bring entrance to Loyola. Expected completion Fall 2011.

– 930 Poydras - $65 million, 250-Unit Luxury Rental Development – Completed 2010

– Proposed Civil Court Complex – March 2010 action by State Legislature preserves site for future use as Civil Court Complex.
