Notes

The Version IDs for the magnetic field analysis are displayed in the report file (*.check) that is exported when an analysis is complete. RID means the "reference ID" assigned to each update. Please provide the RID when inquiring about updates. Class refers to the following types of updates:

Class Description Information Information not directly associated with the updates, such as features that will be supported or

developed in the near feature. Added Feature Added features, such as new commands added to a menu or new parameters added to a dialog

box. Enhanced Feature Enhanced Features, such as parameters added to condition settings. Specification Change Changed features, such as operations performed in the graphics window that have been added

to the circuit editor. Bug Fixed Bugs that have been fixed in this revision. Known Bug Bugs that have been detected and their workarounds. Discontinued Feature Features that are no longer available or have been integrated into another feature. The mark indicates when a problem largely affects the analysis results or when a new service pack obtains results that differ from previous versions. Pay extra attention to the information provided with this mark.

14.1.01 Enhanced Feature Added the scale function. Description Enlarges or shrinks the basic geometry (or region, solid, element). Additional

information 1 Assembly scale, region scale, and solid scale will be set to the model as a feature. Features can handle factors of scales as variables of parametric analysis.

Additional information 2

The element scale is a function that enlarges or shrinks the selected element. Increases or decreases in number of elements or nodes will not occur. Use parallel mesh extrude, cylindrical radial mesh extrude, and the cylindrical theta mesh extrude when expanding the mesh model by increasing the number of elements.

Enhanced Feature Supported creating arc with [Arc by 2 Points Radius]. Description Fixed constraint will be set on the specified start point/end point when

the [Automatic Constraints] check box is selected. As the start point/end point is fixed, the radius can be specified so that the center point moves.

Additional information

There will be a difference in how the constraints are set for an arc from three points when [Automatic Constraints] is selected. A fixed constraint (coincident constraint and fixed constraint for

[Point on the Arc]) is set only if an existing point is selected for an arc from three points.

RID Version Class Contents 67321 14.1.01 Bug Fixed Fixed a bug where inductance and flux linkage values as well as the

correction table are not properly reflected when β angle is greater than or equal to 180, or less than 360 for RTT file corrections.

Cause This problem occurs when the following conditions are specified. - Use inductance, flux linkage, or torque corrections in Simulink - β angle is greater than or equal to 180, or less than 360

Problem The value β=0 would be applied

JMAG-RT Viewer

* This function is only supported on Windows. RID Version Class Contents

54963 14.1.01 Bug Fixed Fixed a bug where the [K2 Flux Linkage in Magnet] specified in the RT library manager is not reflected to the default value as the [Magnet Flux Factor] of the JMAG-RT Viewer.

59271 Bug Fixed Fixed a bug where magnetic flux amount coefficient is not accounted for when using RTT files of spatial harmonic models.

Cause This problem occurs when values other than 1.0 are specified for magnetic flux factor of magnets in versions later than 12.1.

Impact on existing data

When these error conditions occur, re-creation of Torque-Speed Curve/Efficiency Map is necessary.

Known Bug

Running Analysis and JMAG-Scheduler Operations

RID Version Class Contents 68266 14.1.01 Known Bug There is a bug where the JMAG-Scheduler progress bar stays at 0%

even if calculations have started when submitting a case of an analysis group.

Result Display

RID Version Class Contents 67253 14.1.01 Known Bug There is a bug where the output history graph would not display

correctly when a result type of nodal value including displacement was selected for an added calculation for a part/face/edge.

Problem This problem occurs during result calculation (added calculation for a part/face/edge) for version 14.0 or later.
