San Remigio is known for its long shoreline. Despite of this, people are abusing the seashore like throwing their thrashes everywhere, which is dangerous because it can cause pollution. We need to clean our shoreline and develop how can we help in maintaining the cleanliness of our community .

The main goal of my project is to let my peers be educated enough about the nature . I

want them to learn the effects of pollution and how they can contribute to make our

community a better place for everyone that can last up to next generations to come.

To achieve my goal in conducting a cleanup inour community , being an offi cer of YOUTHFOR ENVIROMENT IN SCHOOLS ORGANIZATION.We choose some selected students from our Club, and started cleaning the shoreline. Yes-O offi cers and members will proceed the serious issue and expect that someday there would be a clean and green community.

1. As an officer we then plan the said activity together with our Club Adviser.

2. Our class adviser decided to have some selected students to participate in the activity.

3. We finalized the names and set our plans to go to the public beach and clean it up.

4. Together with the class adviser and the selected students we went to the beach and picked up 22 bags of trash , with the help of the Department of Tourism in our Municipality.

5. In addition the students talked to some officials of the municipality and now are more knowledgeable in the importance of the environment .

After our activity , there are 45 members in ourclub who help in fighting pollution. The publicbeach was very clean and is now a better place for our fellowmen . As a result of our activitymany members are know eco-friendly also manystudents are interested to join our club .
