his practice teaching portfolio was prepared to share experiences for those who will undergo the

same undertakings. This is also a compilation of memorabilia during Practice teaching in Justice

    Cecilia Munoz Palma High school.

This also serves as the mirror of the practice teachers

development and achievement in her practice teaching.

Furthermore, this portfolio reflects the pre-service teacher experiences so that they can use it in relating their

theories learned inside the classroom to become globally competitive.

Another purpose of this practice teaching portfolio is

that it assess the pre-service teachers learning for the preparation in future life in facing the real world of

    teaching.

Father, please fill me with your understanding

    as I instruct others,

Help me to see the individual potential

    of every student I teach.

Father, please fill me with your patience as I teach others,

Help me to keep giving of my time and energy,

especially to those who struggle the most

Father, please give me your divine

wisdom as I am with my class, Show me when I must discipline and when I can show

    mercy.

Father, help me to depend totally on You, For You are the source of my strength, courage and

    peace.

Father, above all, may I love and care for each student I teach.

Show me how to serve as Christ serves

    Give as Christ gives

    Love as Christ loves.

I ask all this in the precious name of Jesus,

    My Saviour and friend.

    Amen.

    A Teacher's Prayer

  • PRE-SERVICE TEACHING PORTFOLIO 2015

I believe that teaching is more than a job, more than a profession,

    it is a vocation.

As a teacher, I believe I have a mission to cure the ignorance.

My calling as a teacher is of supreme importance in shaping of the

presented external destiny of main kind.

As a teacher, as I dare to teach I must never cease to learn.

Without daily prayer for patience, strength and guidance from

God, I cannot hope to fulfill my high calling.

I believe that teaching is more than instruction- it is also guidance

    and friendship.

I believe that my students have unlimited potentials that needs to

    be tapped.

I believe that appreciation and encouragement of my students and

fellow teachers will do wonders for their morale as well as my

    own.

I believe that I should not only feed their mind but also touch

their hearts and inspire them to act in their hands.

I am not just their teacher but their friend.

Inspire them not just to pass, but to learn.

  • PRE-SERVICE TEACHING PORTFOLIO 2015

I believe that Education is the most

powerful weapon which we can use to change

the world. But in order to do that, we should

be the role model to set as an example to our

beloved students. Because a good example is

    better than a good advice.

We should also teach from the heart, we

should inspire them and motivate them why do

they need to learn that lesson. Because a

great teacher teach from the heart, not

from the book. If the youth is the hope of

our mother land, I believe that we teachers

are the hope of the youth. We should

continue to believe and never stop dreaming,

    education is the key.

  • During my practice teaching in my Alma

mater- Justice Cecilia Muoz Palma High School,

I handled three areas of TLE subject specifically:

    Computer Hardware Servicing, Information and

    Communication Technology and Housekeeping

and I was assigned to handled six sections from

Fourth year level, and from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m.

Then, I ask myself, do I really want to teach?

Because during my pre-service teaching I realized

that being a teacher is not an easy job, it takes a

lot of patience, determination and inspiration to

pursue this career. So, I pray and I thank God

that He gave me wisdom, because He reminds me

again that teaching is my passion and this is my

    calling since I was young.

This Practice teaching experience taught me

how to deal with different type of student because

in the field of teaching you cannot choose who will

be your students, and you cannot pick only the

best students to be with you inside the

  • classroom. It teaches me to become flexible, to

become resourceful despite of lack of facilities,

more obedient and more patience and it develop

rapport to the TLE teachers and to with the TLE

head. I use the S.M.A.T.E.R. (Specific,

    Measurable, Attainable, Time-bound, Exciting,

    and Rewarding) pattern technique.

He who dares to teach must never cease to

learn. Theres a lot growth and development in

education trend every year. As a future teacher I

practice this principle during my practice

teaching, I motivate myself to learn new things

and allow myself to explore by using and creating

new techniques that appropriate to the different

class that I handled, especially nowadays that K

to 12 Curriculum was already implemented.

After few months, I build friendship with my

students; I learned how to appreciate their simple

efforts, to make them feel that they are important

as student. Because every students have different

capabilities and talents that make them so unique

    individual.
