There is huge demand for employability of skilled and trainedmanpower in Punjab and internationally. With its fast growing

young population, it is estimated that over 15 million youth

(16-29 years both males and females) need skills training in

Punjab to get absorbed in the local and international job

    market.

An additional 500,000 are being added to this number every

year. The existing training capacity for skills development and

training in Punjab, is only 123,000 annually.

policy framework in this field along with facilitation and

enablement to attract the private sector to come forward and

capitalize upon this immense opportunity for establishing

successful and profitable business to provide Skills

    Development Training in Punjab. ..

Knowledge & skills is not reserved for a favored few,

but it should reach every section of the society. ITA has

ensured admissions to two sisters in the Tailoring Class

who are challenged (physical , speech and hearing).

ITA is an equal opportunity institutions and believes that

these challenges can be converted into productive assets

through the provision of vocational training.
