Why is Mathematics Compulsory?

This is Maths! – Compulsory even for FASS and Law courses.

Most University Subjects have Mathematics as a Prerequisite

• For NUS and NTU Engineering or Science courses, as well as NUS Business Analytics or Pharmacy, H2 Maths is needed.

• For NUS and NTU Business, NUS Architecture, NTU Economics or Psychology, H1 Maths is needed.

• For NUS Medicine: “A good H2 pass in Chemistryand H2 pass in either Biology or Physics”. -- H2 Math is not required (but at least 3 H2 distinctions is required).
