‘Good teaching’ demands high order thinking and students deserve teachers who demonstrate this
IWB just one tool that helps and the pedagogy must match the needs of students and use of ICTs
High performing teachers incorporate ICTs

Where to from here?
Clear curriculum driven objectives in teaching and planning essential !!
Teachers need the hardware (PCs that can cope) and software (full version - Inspire) to be able to use the equipment in the classroom effectively
PD needs to focus on teachers needs as TIME is very precious
Portable versus Fixed – jury still out – better questions are: ‘What are our needs and where can we put boards or use existing whiteboards with different technology and what is the BUDGET?’
Management need to seem interested and involved
