    Students who are attending iTTTi Vancouvermay be dismissed for any of the followingreasons:

    Fees have not been paid in full.

    Repeatedly broken the iTTTi VancouverEnglish Only policy.

    Caused unbearable disturbance in class.

    Committed a punishable by law crime.

    Abusive to staff, teachers or otherstudents.

    Proven themselves to be unworthy

    students (lewd, indecent or obscenebehavior)

    The sale or knowing possession ofdangerous drugs, restricted

    narcotics/drugs on campus property.

    Absenteeism for a period longer thanthree (3) days without notifying the

    institute and provision of a doctors note.

    Theft of or non-accidental damage to theinstitutes property.

    Forgery, alteration or misuse of theinstitutes documents, records or

    identification, or knowingly furnishingfalse information to the institute.

    Student Dismissal Policy

    The minimum age for students wishing to take

    part in a program of study at iTTTi Vancouver is16. Students under the age of 19 must havetheir application co-signed by a parent or legalguardian. Underage students may also berequired to submit underage agreements

    signed by their parents. Custodianship may alsoneed to be arranged.

    Entry Requirements

    Apply online at www.ittti.ca or fill out theapplication form on the page and fax orscan/email it to us.

    Send a certified cheque or money orderpayable to iTTTi Vancouver, or transfer toour bank account the full tuition amountdue.

    Upon receipt of payment, you will be senta Letter of Acceptance which you mayneed to obtain your student visa.

    How to Register for iTTTi

    As an accredited member of LanguagesCanada, iTTTi Vancouver adheres to all bestpractices and requirements regarding refundpolicies. An international student is a person

    who is not a Canadian citizen or a landedimmigrant or who has been determined underthe Immigration Act to be a conventionrefugee. International students require a studypermit to study in Canada unless they aretaking a course or program with a duration of

    six months or less, are enrolled in a co opprogram, are a minor child already in Canadawhose parents are not visitors in Canada, orare a family or staff member of a foreignrepresentative to Canada accredited by the

    Department of Foreign Affairs and Interna-tional Trade. Where an institution (iTTTiVancouver) enters into a contract with aninternational student the following refundpolicy is applicable:

    Refunds in Cases of Withdrawal or Dismissal

    1. Written Noticea) To initiate a refund, written notice must beprovided:

    - By a student to the institution when thestudent withdraws, or fees have not been paidin full.

    - By the institution to the student where the

    institution dismisses a student.

    2. Refund Entitlementa) Refund entitlement is calculated on the totalfees due under the contract, less the applicable

    non-refundable application or registration fee.Where total fees have not yet been collected,the institution is not responsible for refundingmore than has been collected to date and astudent may be required to make up for moniesdue under the contract.

    3. Refund policy for students:a) Refunds before the program of study begins:

    1. If written notice of withdrawal is received

    by the institution less than seven (7) calendardays after the contract is made, and before thecommencement of the period of instructionspecified in the contract, the institution mayretain the lesser of 10% of the total fees due

    under the contract or $100.

    2. Subject to subsection (a) (i), if writtennotice of withdrawal is received by theinstitution thirty (30) calendar days or morebefore the commencement of the period of

    instruction specified in the contract, theinstitution may retain the lesser of 10% of thetotal fees due under the contract, or $500.

    3. Subject to subsection (a) (i), if writtennotice of withdrawal is received by the

    institution less than thirty (30) calendar daysbefore the commencement of the period ofinstruction specified in the contract, theinstitution may retain the lesser of 20% of thetotal fees due under the contract, or $1000.

    b) Refunds after the program of study starts:

    1. If written notice of withdrawal is receivedby the institution, or a student is dismissed,within 10% of the period of instruction

    specified in the contract, the institution mayretain 30% of the total fees due under thecontract.

    2. If written notice of withdrawal is received

    by the institution, or a student is dismissed,after 10% and before 30% of the period ofinstruction specified in the contract, theinstitution may retain 50% of the total fees dueunder the contract.

    3. If a student withdraws or is dismissed after30% of the period of instruction specified in thecontract, no refund is required.

    4. Other Refund Policy Requirements

    a) Where a student is deemed not to have metthe institutional and/or program specificminimum requirements for admission, theinstitution must refund all fees paid under thecontract, less the applicable non-refundable

    application or registration fee.

    b) Where an institution provides technicalequipment to a student, without cost to thestudent, and the student withdraws or isdismissed, the institution may charge the

    student for the equipment or use of theequipment on a cost recovery basis, unless thestudent returns the equipment unopened or asissued within fourteen (14) calendar days.

    c) Refunds owing to students must be paid

    within thirty (30) calendar days of theinstitution receiving written notification ofwithdrawal and all required supportingdocumentation, or within thirty (30) calendar

    days of an institutions written notice ofdismissal.
