Dear Parents
If your child came back smelling a bit different on Friday, now you know why!
As the theme for this term is underwater creatures, the children had a hands-on sensorial session
with crabs, prawns, mussels, clams and squids.
And the most popular item of the day …… the CRABS!

The children had to sort themselves into the groups!
They began with simple instructions to get used to the game – sorting into groups of 4/5/6…
After which, multiple instructions were given to the children…
For example:
A group of 4 around a red hoop; a group of 2 around a blue hoop and individuals on a yellow hoop

Locomotor skills of the Love children were tested as they performed a series of drills.
Weaving in and out of the cones…
Jumping over the cones…
Sliding between the cones…
Moving backward and sprinting forward while avoiding the cones.
Some were a little more challenging but the children did a great job!

We are ready for the Mid-Autumn Festival (Mon 24 Sept2018) with our paper lanterns!

For the Love children, Teachers helped with the assembly of the lanterns.
