The Drain Is Just For Rain Oil Spills Liquids Dirt and Leaves Our Team Diorama
The Drain Is Just For RainPlacing rubbish in the bin is a marvellous thing and helps stop pollution going down drains.
Oil Spills
Oil spills can become very harmful to marine life and can leave them paralyzed and highly flammable.
Oil spills also leave the sea a dangerous place for swimming.
Liquids
It is important to remember that pouring liquids such as paints, dyes and pesticides down the drain or sink means it will be transported through Sydney before reaching the harbour. That will leave it poisonous to fish and anemones.
Dirt and Leaves
If substances such as leaves, dirt and grass find their way into our drains, then they can block up the entire drain. This will leave the leaves and other substances stuck in the drain and after a few weeks they will begin to go into Sydney Harbour and pollute the waters.
Our Team Diorama
This is the picture of our diorama and our team. We made this to show the good and bad things that happen under water.
