It’s Mrs Short and Mrs Hutchinson, we’re going to be your
teachers for the rest of term. Woo hoo!! We’re excited to be on
this home learning journey with you. We know it’s not easy
working from home and being away from friends and family,
just take it one day at a time. Everyone has good days and not
so good days, we just need to remember to be kind to each
other and let it go. We can ALL do this!!!!
Since the weather has started to be a bit nicer, try and get out
for a walk/ run/ cycle/ scoot/ or other way of moving.
Remember to keep 2m away from others! We’ve included a
scavenger that can be done indoors or outdoors.
Our home learning this week has changed format, we hope you
like it! There are lots of fun activities and links to explore, Good
Luck!
Thank you to Adrianna H and Aaron R for sending in photos,
you have worked incredibly hard. We love seeing what you
have been up to, it really makes our day!!
Let’s see who can get a special mention next week. Keep doing
your best. (send an email to the school –
[email protected] - if you have lost or can’t remember
your logins and we can send them out to you).
Stay safe, keep smiling and we hope to see you soon.
Lots of love Mrs Hutchinson and Mrs Short
How’s everyone doing? Here we are at Week 6 of Home Learning and
we hope you and your families are all coping and adjusting well to the
way of things. Please be kind to yourself and to others and remember all
we ask is that you try your best.

Readtheory and are impressed with how hard you are trying. We would
like to give a few special ‘shout outs’ this week to pupils who have been
trying especially hard:

big thanks to Lena, Ethan and Jennifer who have emailed photographs
to school. It’s lovely to see what you’ve been up to. If you would like to
share something with us then please email the office who will forward it
on to us. It brightens up our days!
Are you enjoying Catscape? We’re really loving it especially because
it’s set in Edinburgh. I know you are a class of animal lovers and many of
you have cats so let’s hope for a happy ending for all the missing ones in
the story.
Have you been having a go at the ‘BBC Bitesize Year4/P5’ lessons?
There is such a variety, lots of interesting topics.
Have a good week everyone. There are plenty of activities in your Home
Learning for you to choose from. Do what you can manage, try your best
and enjoy what you’re doing. We know it’s not easy working from home
but it won’t be forever. Your outdoor time is important too. Let’s hope
the sun keeps shining!
A BIG thank you from us to your parents, carers and families. Stay safe
everyone and keep smiling!
Take care!

Part of being kind, is being kind to yourself. It can be difficult
knowing what you should and shouldn’t expect of yourself
when things are so uncertain. Managing your goals effectively
in unfamiliar situations is a key part of being resilient.
