For Italians, Christmas is a holiday that should be spend with

family enjoying the Cenone dishes and opening Babbo Natale´s

presents.

The Italian Cenone consists of just fish and pasta: pasta with

tomato sauce, spaghetti with tuna and plums and seafood.

On the 25th you can eat meat. The main dish is baked pasta

with tomato sauce, meat, mozzarella ...

This day Babbo Natale brings presents for the children.

January 6th is also special for kids, because the Befana (nice old

lady with a long nose, witch´s hat and flying broom) comes

loaded with chocolate, lollipops and coal,if necessary, to deal.
