Also in Q3 2015 Food e Beverage industry has been featured by difficulties in system of
payments, with lower payment performances compared to national ones.
Hospitality industry shows in particular the worst performance with only 15,1% of
companies which meet payment terms (-22,6% compared to Italian average) but, in
general, also the rest of sectors analysed displays lower payments by the due date (not
over 26,7%).
Looking at over 30-days late payments, Hospitality industry companies are still at the top
of the ranking (31,7%), followed by Retail Trade Food & Beverage businesses (28,0%).
All sectors witness an increase in over 30-days late payments compared to 2010, higher
than 200% for Hospitality industry.
Considering payment habits in relation to macro geographical areas, Centre and South and
Islands regions display the worst outcomes. The best payment performances are
accomplished in North-East area.
