Kepler-90i By: Yanis

Our solar system now is tied for most number of planets around a single star, with the recent discovery of an eighth planet circling Kepler-90, a Sun-like star 2,545 light-years from Earth. The planet was discovered in data from NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope.

The newly-discovered Kepler-90i – a sizzling hot, rocky planet that orbits its star once every 14.4 days – was found using machine learning from Google. Machine learning is an approach to artificial intelligence in which computers “learn.” In this case, computers learned to identify planets by finding in Kepler data instances where the telescope recorded signals from planets

beyond our solar system, known as exoplanets.

Pac-Man is a really cool game! It is a maze-based arcade game that was released in 1980, created by Toru Iwatani, a Japanese game designer. It was released by Midway in the United States. Pac-Man quickly gained popularity, surpassing games such as Asteroids and Space Invaders to become one of the world's all-time most famous games. In Pac-Man, the player controls the Pac-Man character - which looks like a yellow circle with a missing pie-shape piece (which represents the mouth). Golden Tortoise Beetle By: Rayan.P

The golden tortoise beetle previously known as Metriona bicolor, is a tiny, metallic North American insect that belongs to the leaf beetle family, Chrysomelidae, which includes flea beetles, asparagus beetles and longhorn beetles. Nicknamed 'goldenbugs', golden tortoise beetles grow to around 5 to 7 mm in length and like foods such as sweet potato and morning glory. The golden tortoise beetle is common in North America and can often be found in backyards on plants such as sweet potato and morning glory.

Golden tortoise beetles look similar to lady bird beetles. Tortoise beetles get their funny name from the peculiar structure of their elytra (the hardened wing covers that protect the flying wings in beetles) which have a flattened ridge outlining the body and concealing the head and legs, much like a tortoise. Entomologists believe this feature allows them to hunker down and tuck in their body parts when under attack from a predator.
