Comparison of International Master‘s Study Programmes

1/ 45 students globally, out of which are 10 students from VSE 2/ The deadline is related to September start of studies; all programmes can only be started in September 3/ Further earlier/later deadlines may be also fixed 4/ Tuition fee covers the whole programme 5/ Minimum level of English knowledge proven by respective certificate 6/ CEFR = Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; international language exams (Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) are mapped to CEFR 7/ Proven knowledge of a second language by a certificate or any other relevant document e.g. university language course participation or exam, confirmation from language school etc 8/ Nostrification / Recognition of the previous university degree at the Bachelor‘s level 9/ Written case study in English on a given topic. 10/ Essay = interpretation/analysis of data/outputs 11/ Skype interview 12/ Two parts – written and oral 13/ Entrance exam at VSE means Interview at VSE 14/ One ECTS credit is worth 26 hours of workload 15/ Minor specialization consists of an internship in State Statistical Service and Master Thesis Project. 16/ 3rd semester of studies can be spent abroad in the form of internship or exchange study or exchange programmes at VSE exchange partner universities 17/ The whole study programme is divided into 3 trimesters, each is studied at different university (at one of 6 partner universities) + thesis written at home university 18/ Selected partners in finance and accounting
