Instructions for Candidates Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 1. Center coordinator / Invigilator will receive a set of password from the Centre Coordinator /Lab In-charge/ ESIC officials on the date of examination for both the administrator and candidates. 2. For Candidates, the URL (website address) is common for all the sessions for appearing in the online examination. Whereas their log-in ID and passwords are Session specific i.e. there will be separate log-in ID and Password for the candidates for each of the sessions/papers. 3. For each candidate there is session wise set of login-id and password as per the post wise list of their names. The candidates are also required to enter their allocated Roll Nos. 4. Login-Id and passwords (Combination of Alphabets in Capital and Numbers) for candidates is to be informed to the candidates at the time of their reporting in the examination hall. 5. Once candidate login by entering their Candidate-Id, Password and Roll no. provided to them, they should read the instructions carefully before and then they should start the examination. 6. Examination is bilingual (English and Hindi), and the questions shall be appearing in English and Hindi languages on their screen. This provision is for the better understanding of the questions and the selection of the answers. 7. Once the examination is over, a summary sheet will appear on candidate’s system so that they can take the note of the total number of questions attempted, total number of questions unattempted, and their total score. It is only for their reference purpose, no need to take the printout of the individual report of each of the candidates. 8. Once examination is over, the Administrator at the Test centre shall be logging in to a separate link by using the admin login-Id and password provided to them. He /She shall be able to see and print the Attendance cum Score sheet for each session, and the same shall be handed over to the invigilator for the signing by the Candidate/Observer. 9. Default Log–In Page Default log‐ in Page opening after the typing of the URL (Website Link) provided exclusively for the Online Test. 

 

 

Steps involved for the successful Log‐in into the online Examination. Step 1: 

a) Start your Computer and let the booting process completed and check the internet connectivity is up and running. 

b) Type the URL (website address) provided to yourself at the browser address position I;e  http://www.eonlineapply.com/exam/Screens/login.aspx  

c) After typing the above mentioned URL (website address) at the browser address, the page shall be opening as per the screen shot mentioned below: 

Step 2: 

a) After opening of the Browser page related to the registration page for the appearance in the online test, the candidates are required to login by correctly typing their own Candidate Login ID, Password and Candidate roll No. in the specified spaces. 

b) After typing the Login ID, Password and Roll No. the Input boxes, The instruction page shall be appearing automatically. 

c) On the instruction page the option for reading the instruction in English and Hindi both options are available. Candidates may select the medium if instruction by selecting the button available on the page. 

d) After selecting the medium of instruction the relevant page shall be appearing before the candidate.

Default Instruction Page This is the default Instruction page with the option of the selection of the Instructions in English and Hindi.

Selected Instruction Page On the selection of the language of the Instructions the web page of the relevant instruction shall be appearing on the screen of the PC.

Instruction page with START button for the Question­page On  the appearance of  the selected  instruction sheet  there  is provision of “START” Button, clicking upon  the  same  the  first page of  the actual Question page  containing  the question  in English and Hindi language shall be appearing on the screen with the options of Answers (A., B., C., D.).

Default First page of the Question paper (i.e. page of 1st Question) Following are the provisions on the 1st Question page: a) The page shall be appearing with the name of the post, candidate. b) There will reverse time clock on the right hand side top corner of the page  indicating the total 

time remaining. The time clock will start only after the pressing of the “START” button and the appearance of the first page of the question paper. 

c) The provision of the Selection of the answer by the candidate has been provided.  d) To record the selection of the choice of the answer the “Next” button need to be pressed.  e) The “Next” button enables the recording of the answer selection as well as the movement on to 

the next page.

Attempted Questions On the clicking of the button for the choice of answer followed by the clicking of the “NEXT” button the system shall be recording the activity and the respective question no. shall be listed in the list of the Question attempted as per the sequence of attempt.

Un­attempted Question On the clicking of the Next button, the next question no. shall be appearing on the screen with the option for the choice of answer followed by the clicking of the “Previous “ and “NEXT” button.  In case the candidate skips the question appeared on the screen, the system shall be recording the activity and the respective question no. shall be listed in the list of the Question un‐attempted as per the sequence of attempt. Before the finish of the examination candidate can go back to the un‐attempted questions and attempt them, once attempted the respective question shall be appearing in the list of the attempted question list.

Restriction: Short/Function key Error Message In case any candidate presses the “Short Keys” / “Function Keys” on the keyboard, the system shall be generating an “Alert” and a Pop up message shall be appearing  on the screen, where “OK” button need to be clicked to disable the pop up message and proceed further.  

 

The right hand section shall be appearing in Hindi Language. 

 On the usage of the any hot key/functional key of the keyboard the pop up message screen shall be appearing in front of the candidate screen, where the candidate has to click OK to proceed further.  Candidates are advised to use the  Mouse only for moving ahead on the question pages, where as keyboard keys may be used for  Login purpose only.

Individual Score Card At the finish of the Examination, the Summary details of examination shall be appearing on the screen in front of the candidate. This is system generated and for the purpose of the candidate’s awareness of his/her performance in the examination. There is no need of taking print out of this screen.  

 

 

Most Important: 

Candidates are strictly advised not to leave the examination premise, unless they have signed on the Score sheet generated at the end of each session/paper. The score sheet shall be brought before them by the Invigilator/Centre coordinator/ESIC officials. In case any of the candidate’s signature found missing, then he/she shall be treated as absent.
