INNOVATRIUM

Innovation Happens Faster Here!

DEVELOPING INNOVATION

LEADERS

The Innovatrium is:

An institute for Innovation, providing

instructions to current and future inno-

vation leaders

An idea laboratory, jumpstarting, devel-

oping, and shepherding innovation pro-

jects through the organization

A diverse community, comprised of

university faculty, industry experts, prac-

titioners, and students

The Innovatrium is the ideal venue for

leaders to establish new innovation prac-

tices, experiment, and tackle specific pro-

ject challenges, and become more effec-

tive innovators. Moving innovation out of

corporate isolation through collaborative

ventures, the Innovatrium will offer re-

sources, training, and coaching to

jumpstart innovation initiatives.

The Innovatrium’s programs are based

upon the cutting-edge principles of the

Competing Values Framework (CVF). The

result of over 25 years of academic re-

search, the CVF is a broadly applicable

model that fosters successful leadership,

improves organizational effectiveness

and promotes value creation.

HERE, INNOVATION HAPPENS FASTER

The Innovatrium (Innovation + Atrium) is an innovation center that connects

private and public entities. The Innovatrium acts as an idea market, think

tank, and research lab for innovation projects. The focus is on growth

through the development of innovation practices and leaders, quickly gen-

erating results.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Innovatrium is to be to business innovation what the

Juilliard School is to music; bringing together master artists, teachers and

students in a collaborative effort to create something new. The Innovatrium

integrates the best of consulting and teaching into action learning. Through

these activities, we seek to create a sustainable interdisciplinary innovation

community of scholars and practitioners that can enhance the development

of new knowledge and methodology.

YOUR INNOVATION WAY

We train you in our unique innovation method, in an apprenticeship model

we call SODOTO (See One, Do One, Teach One). You learn to identify inno-

vation opportunities, jumpstart various innovation projects, manage those

projects, and most importantly, guide your projects through your organiza-

tion. We help you design your innovation way: a unique innovation process

that suits your organizational culture and integrate it with your current or-

ganizational system.

JOIN OUR COMMUNITY

We work with various types of organizations, including Fortune 500 compa-

nies, community leaders, foundations, and education institutions. We are the

bridge between the business community, non profit community, and major

Universities to connect the dots and make innovation happen. In our pro-

jects, we bring experts, practitioners, researchers, and students together. Our

clients include

General Electric,

Thomson Reu-

ters, Prudential,

and Pfizer,

among others.

We help our

clients change

the way they

think and do

business to

achieve sustain-

able growth.

LOCATIONS

The Innovatrium provides a unique experience with an environment especially designed to facilitate brainstorming and

collaboration. It is a perfect venue for off-site innovation workshops or programs and establishes a safe atmosphere that

is conducive for out-of-the-box thinking and experimentations. There are two Innovatrium locations, each has its own

feel and personality:

1. Ann Arbor, Michigan

Conveniently located in the middle of the University of Michigan campus, this original Innovatrium enjoys a close

relationship with the university’s top schools and colleges. This setting lends to the open and relaxed atmosphere. It

also provides access to a deep talent pool of highly prac-

ticed experts and thousands of technically skilled, qualified

students and graduates who are available to assist the Inno-

vatrium community members in their innovation and

growth efforts.

2. Whitewater, Wisconsin

The Innovatrium in Whitewater, Wisconsin is as polished as

its Ann Arbor sister is informal. We partner with the Univer-

sity of Wisconsin Whitewater (UWW) to provide standard

and customizable innovation programs. The Innovatrium is

housed in eco-friendly technologically advanced business

incubation facility.
