Success Story (I): BANCAFÉImplementation of Microsoft SMS 2003Success Story (I): BANCAFÉImplementation of Microsoft SMS 2003
“Banco del Café” (BANCAFE), belonging to “Grupo Financiero del País”, is one of the most important banks in Guatemala, with over 160 agencies spread across the national territory. Geographic conditions and agencies distribution have made the over 2,000 workstations maintenance a complex and costly task.
In this scenario and with the main objective of reducing maintenance costs, BANCAFE together with Microsoft and Infocorp decided to implement the Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003.This tool will enable better control of company information technology assets and reduction of administrative costs.
“The solution that has been implemented will enable us to keep a tighter control of our IT equipment, carry out better growth planning and diminish management costs.”
Efren Ortiz , Technological Support Director

Success Story (II): Santander BankIC-Banking: An e-Banking SolutionSuccess Story (II): Santander BankIC-Banking: An e-Banking Solution
The challenge raised by the Santander Group in Uruguay, was to design a new corporate portal, as well as an e-Banking tool that would allow its clients to gain access to all their information, make on-line transactions, and ask for services in a safe, fast, and secure way.
To accomplish this objectives, we worked with Santander Group as a team, together with its main clients, defining the various functionalities and characteristics that added value to the clients and also to the bank. Finally, and also counting with the support of Microsoft, we developed a solution based in the latest .NET techonolgies, which allowed a quick and successful implementation.
“With the support of Infocorp, we were able to offer our clients Internet access to all our products and operations without them having to move from their house, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”
Francisco Bello, DirectorSantander Group - Uruguay

Success Story (III): Vida CorpApplications´ Integration: BizTalk ServerSuccess Story (III): Vida CorpApplications´ Integration: BizTalk Server
Vida Corp is a financial and insurance services company from Chile. It has 150.000 clients in that country, with the support of Corp. Group and Mass Mutual International Inc.
They had a problem with multiple data bases and applications without being integrated among themselves. The company was focused on its products. In addition to that, it was difficult and expensive to introduce changes in the rules of business of the applications.
Working together with Microsoft, Infocorp implemented a unique clients data base, as well as an integration platform based onBizTalk Server, along with a portal developed with ASP .NET for use in the customer service´s front end.
“We went from being product orientated, to a company beingorientated towards the client. BizTalk allowed us to achieve an integration that is the key for our people to give faster answers and resolve our clients needs in a more efficient way.”
Fernando Sandoval Soto, IT ManagerVida Corp - Chile
