1) Each week, choose at least one activity box to complete. 2) Put a tick in the box to show which activity you attempted/completed. (Some of the boxes have
more than one activity, and some boxes can be done more than once so you can add more than one tick.)

Indonesian counting book
Make a book. Each page is for a different number in Indonesian.
Draw or add a photo of that many objects on each page.
Satu Dua Tiga …
Colour by number
Complete one of the colour by number activities in this
booklet. Practise saying the colours and numbers while you
colour in.
Play cards
If you have the game of UNO at home, try saying each card in Indonesian, e.g. a
red 3 would be “tiga merah” OR
Play a normal game of snap, but say each card in Indonesian when you put one
down

Complete one of the number

Label the house
Below are some new words to
learn: Activity One: Write them on sticky notes and stick around
the house, then try to say each one.

Activity Two: Draw a picture of a room in your house and label as many items as possible in Indonesian.
Draw and label your family
Draw a portrait (or use a photo) of you and your family. Then label each person
in Indonesian.
ibu = mum ayah = father / dad adik = younger sibling kakak = older sibling
saya = me ibu tiri = step mum ayah tiri = step dad
bayi = baby nenek = grandmother kakek = grandfather
bibi = aunty paman = uncle sepupu = cousin
Indonesian animals
Find out what wild animals are special in Indonesia.
Activity One: Write a list and
draw a picture of your favourite 5 Indonesian animals.
Activity Two: Choose one animal and write 5 facts about it. Draw a picture of it in its natural habitat
(natural home or environment).
Indonesian Map Activity
Learn the names of the main Indonesian islands using the
map in the booklet then label and colour the blank map in the
booklet.
Challenge question: How many islands are there in Indonesia?
Word Search
Activity One: Complete the Keluarga Saya (My Family) wordsearch in the booklet. There are some new family words: cucu = grandchild perempuan = girl laki-laki = boy Activity Two: Using your word lists to make your own word search – fill the boxes with Indonesian words, then write the clues in English!
Batik Art
Activity One: Colour the 2020 batik inspired colouring design in
this booklet.
Activity Two: Look online for some examples of traditional
batik patterns, then try drawing some of your own. You could try
making a bookmark.
