(Through CCMT-2020)

The candidates who are provisionally admitted to M.Tech Programme under CCMT 2020

process in regular and special round I and II for the academic year 2020-21 are requested to

follow the guidelines as given below:

1. There is no physical reporting and physical verification of certificates till order

of the Government of India to this effect and the admission is provisional till

verification of all the documents. However, students are advised to upload their

copy of their self-attested certificates/documents in the institute portal.

2. Online Orientation and enrolment is scheduled on September 8, 2020 at 5 PM and

classes will commence from 9th September, 2020 at 9 AM.

3. Procedure for online Registration:

a) All the candidates must register and enter their personal data using the following

link: http://iiitdm.ac.in/old/pg_admission_2020/index.php. Portal will be accessed by

using your GATE Registration number.

The link will be active between 29.08.2020 (from 8 pm onwards) to 14.09.2020

(upto 8.00 pm).

b) Please follow the below given instructions carefully and fill the required details

correctly in the online portal.

Step:1 Upload your passport size photo

Step:2 All the self-attested certificates/documents have to be uploaded as

a single merged PDF file in the student registration portal (Max. size: 10

Mb). (For list of documents, refer point no. 4)

Step:3 Fill your personal details and submit. After submitting the

student’s data form, you will get an automatic generated roll number and

course registration link on the same page.

Step:4 Submit the course registration form.

(Kindly refer to the last page for Registration Guidelines)

Step:5 After completion of step 1 to 4, students can download the

admission form, Hostel form and first semester course registration form.

(Once the forms are submitted, students are not allotted to edit)

c) Please make a note of the generated 9-digit Roll Number and keep a copy for

future reference.

d) After completing the online registration, download and print the registration

form and submit self-attested copy at the time of reporting.

e) Mode of classes Online Mode (Google Meet, Google Classroom/Moodle)

4. Certificates/Documents to be uploaded by the candidate in theportal:

i. Online Document Verification Certificate (ODVC) downloaded from the

CCMT2020 portal.

ii. Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL) generated from CCMT 2020

website.

iii. GATE score card (2018/2019/2020)

iv. Birth certificate (in English or Hindi) as proof of date of birth

v. X Board Certificate

vi. Class XII certificate

vii. Statement of Grades/Marks obtained in the qualifying Examination(preferably

Consolidated Grade/Mark Sheet with all subjects mentioned in it)

viii. Degree / Provisional Certificate

ix. Course Completion Certificate for result awaiting candidates

x. Transfer Certificate issued from the institute last studied/attended

xi. Migration Certificate

xii. Certificate of Category (EWS / OBC / SC / ST), if applicable, issued by

thecompetent authority as per the prescribed format given in Annexure-II

(EWS/OBCcategory certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2020)

xiii. OBC undertaking form for OBC candidates as given in Annexure-II (filled

andsigned by the candidate)

xiv. Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) issued by Medical

Boardnotified under PWD Act (format given in Annexure-II)

xv. Computer generated institute balance fee paid receipt with self attested

xvi. Late submission undertaking form (format given in Annexure-III), if necessary

xvii. Anti Ragging Affidavit:

Step 1: Student must log on www.Antiragging.in or

on www.Amanmovement.Org.

Step 2: Student must fill the information as requested.

(Institute Director: B. Majhi; Nearest Police Station: Thalambur police station

Chennai)

Step 3: On completion students will receive the Student's Anti Ragging

Affidavit and theParent’s Anti Ragging Affidavit through E-mail. Printout of

both the Affidavits, duly signed by the student and parents are to be uploaded

and original to be submitted at the time of physical reporting to the institute.

Note:

All the above self attested certificates/documents have to be uploaded in a single

merged PDF file in the student registration portal (Max. size: 10 Mb).

In case, if the candidate is not able to get the certificate listed abovein Sl. No. (viii),

(ix), (x) and (xi) at the time of admission due toresult awaiting/late issuance of

certificate etc.,he/she has to uploadthe Late Submission undertaking form as per

the prescribedformat given in Annexure-III

If any certificate is in languages other than Hindi or English, true copy of thesame

in English version is to be uploaded.

For EWS/OBC candidates:

Case I: Those candidates who are not able to obtain the EWS/OBCcertificate dated

on or after 01.04.2020 due to prevailing COVID-19pandemic, they should upload

the certificate obtained on or after01.04.2019 and an undertaking form as per the

format available in CCMT2020 brochure (Annexure III a or b of CCMT 2020

brochure).

Caste II: Those candidates who are not able to obtain the EWS/OBCcertificate for

the first time or possessing older EWS/OBC (before01.04.2019) due to prevailing

COVID-19 pandemic, they should upload theaffidavit in Rs.50 stamp paper as per

the format available in CCMT 2020website under certificates.

a) Those candidates who have appeared for final semester/year examination,

provisionaladmission is permitted provided their final marks are made

available on or before 30thSeptember 2020. For such candidates, the

examinations should be completed by 15thAugust 2020.

b) Any candidate admitted provisionally shall produce the provisional/degree

certificateand all mark lists in original on or before 30th September 2020.

Else, their admissionshall stand cancelled automatically. For such

candidate’s refund will be made as perthe institute norms.

III. During the Registration, you will be guided to complete Course Registration of FIRST SEMESTER (Jul-Dec 2020)

All core courses will be listed in your portal, which are mandatory to be registered.

In addition, you are required to register for ONE more course as Elective listed in portal

Elective could be an In-house course (offered by Institute Faculty members)

Or, you may choose an NPTEL course also as Electiverelevant to the Specialization of your M Tech Programme

The NPTEL course should be of PG LEVEL and of 12 weeks duration to earn 3 credits

You need to register for the same NPTEL course in the NPTEL course portal and SWAYAM Portal also, before the deadline, specified by the NPTEL
