How did we start?

The education system in India was completely different before the Britishers Invaded India. The gurukul system, where the young students goes to a teacher’s place to complete their education was completely scrapped and new education system was chosen among top priorities. Now India’s urban literacy rate is 82 % and it produces millions of graduates every year.

Indian education system:

India has a long history of organized education. The Gurukul system of education is one of the oldest on earth but before that the guru shishya system was extant, in which students were taught orally and the data would be passed from one generation to the next. Now everything has changed. New method of education has taken the Indians to the next level. Thus it improved the knowledge and innovative ideas has come up in the minds of the Indians.

Some of the advantages

Reasonable education. Equality in education. Wide subjects for education

Despite all these we have many loop holes in our education.

The Times Of India : (once quoted)

“Education System in India is not Education it’s Examination”

Page 16: Indian education system

WHY?

http://www.axuedu.com/

Page 17: Indian education system

Reasons:

Education system is Skill-Based. Which means that we are not trained in the fields we are already excellent or we want to excel.

Theory-Based. (we know how we seriously we

take our practical's) Most of the students believe in

mugging up the things and focus on just the marks without knowing the actual concepts behind it.

And here, We just want Exams, exams and exams.

Page 18: Indian education system

NO SERIOUS WEIGHT AGE TO THE CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

We believe in studying and that’s what we run after all the time. We don’t care what hobbies we have or in what field we have an actual excellence.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

http://www.axuedu.com/

Page 20: Indian education system

WHAT WE CAN DO

Provide skill-based Education. Practical implementation on what we

do. Doesn’t mug up things instead go for

the concepts. Facilitate properly the modes of

Examination. Examinations scares us. We must follow some procedures to reduce as much as we can do to lessen the psycho logic pressure upon the students
