ProVision for SIMATIC VS710

ProVision is an ideal tool for simple configuration of VS710 Vision Sensors.

The configuration environment runs offline on a program-ming device or PC under Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000 or XP Professional, and is used to develop and test inspection programs for applications and download them into the VS710. Several inspection programs can be saved and selec-ted via the interfaces. Parameter optimization and pattern learning can take place online. Several VS710 units can be configured from a PG/PC via PROFIBUS DP..

SIMATIC Spectation for SIMATIC VS720

The vision sensors of the SIMATIC VS720 series are configured easily and conveniently with SIMATIC Spectation. A large range of preprogrammed inspection and recognition func-tions is already integrated. Inspection programs can be writ-ten, tested and downloaded onto a vision sensor, online or offline, on a programming device or PC running Windows ME, 2000 or XP.

HMI Controls for SIMATIC VS720

Images from SIMATIC VS720 Vision Sensors can be displayed and edited easily on HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems

using HMI Controls VS720. HMI Controls VS720 use Microsoft DCOM and ActiveX technology and were developed specially for SIMATIC Multi Panels and PC-based solutions with the WinCC and ProTool/Pro visualization systems. They are integra-ted in the visualization system like standard HMI functions and connected to the HMI system via Industrial Ethernet.

SIMATIC VS Link and VS Link PROFIBUS for SIMATIC VS720

The integrated Ethernet interfaces, combined with the on-board I/Os, enable convenient integration of VS720 Vision Sensors in your process - using digital signals and Industrial Ethernet communication.
