Illinois Department of Human Services Required Health, Safety, and Child Development Training for

Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) Providers

Licensed and License-exempt providers MUST complete the following trainings by September 30,

2018 to continue to be paid through the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). All are FREE except

CPR/First Aid.

“DCFS Mandated Reporter Training” (offered online ONLY at https://mr.dcfstraining.org/)

Child Development, Health, and Safety Basics Training (offered face-to-face and online)

(You do not have to take this workshop if you already have taken ECE Credential Level 1

Modules 1, 2a, 2b, 2c) (Offered online beginning 4/9/18).

“What is CCAP?” (offered face-to-face and online)

First Aid/CPR (Only face-to-face trainings meet IDHS requirements)

To take “Child Development, Health, and Safety Basics Training” or “What is CCAP?” online, go to: https://courses.inccrra.org

TRAINING RULES: (1) For individuals attending face-to-face workshops: A 15 minute grace period will be given at all training sessions. This grace period begins at the advertised start time. Participants will NOT be allowed in

the training after the 15 minute grace period. (2) To receive a training credit/certificate, participants must stay until the trainer is finished.

(3) No children allowed at the trainings.
