and Italian retailers.

of certification bodies(CB’s), auditors and

database of auditors.

IFS organization:

IFS is a non-profit company, and finances itself with

the selling of the different IFS standards and the fees

to the certification bodies for the uploading of audit

reports. All the revenues are used for improvements of

the global IFS system.

IFS organization:IFS Standards are developed for and through all involved parties in the supply chain, which would like to use uniform standards to ensure safety and quality of food and non-food products and related services, as well as a concrete and strong answer to the high safety and quality expectations of customers.

Goal:IFS Standards are the common internationally accepted audit

standards to ensure that IFS-certified companies can deliver

products or services which are in line with the defined

specifications of their customers, in order to improve

continuously (non) food product safety and quality for the

consumers.

Audit protocol:Different steps from the audit until issue of the certificate like scoring of the audit, audit duration etc.

IFS Standards:IFS Food:IFS Food is a GFSI recognized standard for auditing food safety and quality of processes and products of food manufacturers. It concerns food processing companies or companies that pack loose food products.It supports production and marketing efforts for brand safety and quality.

IFS Standards:IFS Logistics:IFS Logistics is a standard for auditing all logistics activities for food and non-food products, such as transport, storage, distribution, loading and unloading, etc. It applies to all types of activities also including delivery by road, rail or ship, of frozen/refrigerated products or such products without cooling.
