The '#E and uwait are b) far the most computeri*ed countries+ with Lebanon a distantthird. The '#E has o&er 1,- computers for e&er) 1--- inhabitants+ compared to uwaits1- and Lebanons 0-. In contrast+ countries such as Eg)pt+ orocco and S)ria ha&e $essthan 2- computers per 1--- inhabitants.
There are a$so great differences in Internet use and a&ai$abi$it). The '#E has b) far thehighest proportion of users+ with more than one3third of its popu$ation using the Internet.
uwait and Lebanon are second and third again+ with 1-- users per thousand in uwait and4- in Lebanon. In some countries the number using the Internet is neg$igib$e: Saudi #rabia
has $ess than 2- users per thousand+ and there are fewer than , users per thousand inS)ria.
5ne unusua$ feature of the graph is that Internet use does not seem to be direct$) re$ated tothe number of computers. In se&era$ countries (the '#E+ Lebanon+ 6ordan and 5man+ there
are more Internet users per thousand peop$e than computers. 7owe&er+ in other countries+such as uwait+ Saudi #rabia and S)ria+ the number of Internet users is $ower than thenumber of computers.

The $ine graph shows estimated sa$es of go$d in ubai for 12 months in 2--2 in mi$$ions ofdirhams. There were two main seasons for go$d sa$es.
The main season for sa$es is in the ecember to a) period. Sa$es were consistent$) abo&e
2-- mi$$ion dirhams per month+ rising sharp$) to a pea% of ,- mi$$ion dirhams in arch.7owe&er+ for the next four months+ sa$es dec$ined steadi$)+ reaching an annua$ $ow of 12-mi$$ion dirhams in 6u$).
In #ugust+ there was a sudden increase. Sa$es a$most doub$ed+ rising from 12- mi$$iondirhams in 6u$) to 21- mi$$ion dirhams in #ugust. This was fo$$owed b) a drop in September+bac% to the 6u$) figure.
