Warner Bros. Pictures Warner Bros. isn’t genre specific, however sometimes changes their idents to suit the genre of film. For example, they may have a brighter and less intense ident for Happy Feet which has a target audience of kids, but may have a darker and more mysterious ident for Batman, which is an example of a thriller film. Their ident is usually very similar in every film it is featured in, with a simple logo in front of a blue sky background. It is not changed very much if at all for the different genre of films. The biggest change made would be the colours and lighting, going darker for films that or more mysterious or have a older audience.

Warner Bros. Pictures• Warner Bros. isn’t genre specific, however

sometimes changes their idents to suit the genre of film. For example, they may have a brighter and less intense ident for Happy Feet which has a target audience of kids, but may have a darker and more mysterious ident for Batman, which is an example of a thriller film.

• Their ident is usually very similar in every film it is featured in, with a simple logo in front of a blue sky background. It is not changed very much if at all for the different genre of films. The biggest change made would be the colours and lighting, going darker for films that or more mysterious or have a older audience.

Legendary Pictures• Legendary pictures has a complicated logo because

thriller films intend to confuse the audience in some parts of the film. The logo is also quite mysterious which is a common theme of the thriller genre. The lighting of their idents is usually dark and it is quite plain. This is so the audience focuses on the logo and the name as it only lasts for a few seconds.

• This production company is quite genre specific, mainly creating thriller films such as Jurassic World. Therefore, their ident is similar throughout the different films that the ident is in. The text of the ident is bold and clear so the audience focuses on that as well. Although the logo is complex, this works well with the genre as the audience doesn’t know what the logo means, and plots of many thrillers make the audience confused.
