STAAR Countdown

In a short 6 weeks (29 total instructional days) all of our scholars will be taking their Math and Reading STAAR test. We ask that you encourage your child everyday to do their best in class and check their lifework (homework) every week. We thank you for your partnership this year and look forward to seeing our scholars rock these two tests!

STAAR Math: May 14

STAAR Reading: May 15

Countdown until STAAR: 6 weeks (29 total instructional days)

No School April 27

On April 27 we do not have school because the Bad Weather Make Up day is not needed. Please make arrangements for your child not to be at school this day.

Summer School

Summer school will be June 4 through June 28. It will go Monday through Thursday of each week.

Your child will have mandatory summer school based on the following criteria: IA#3 Scores not on track to meet goals on STAAR, not on track to at least be a Word Master, not on track to be at least a Math Master, excessive absences throughout the school year, and grades that are not passing. More information to come at Report Card Pick Up on April 3.
