Field Lesson (March 1 & March 2)

The field lesson to St. Edwards, University of Texas at Austin, and Texas A&M College Station is March 1 and March 2. This will be an overnight field lesson and scholars will be staying in a hotel. During this time we will also go to Austin Parks & Pizza where we will eat dinner, play laser tag, drive go-karts, and enjoy the arcade.

If your child is not going on the field lesson they must attend school which will be normal hours. If you have any questions about the field lesson please speak with Mr. Willard at 210-420-5515.

Packing Information

Scholars must bring bags to school on Wednesday to be checked. We will not allow scholars to bring bags on the day of the trip.

Clothes 1. Polo for Thursday and Friday 2. Blue jeans – NO RIPPED JEANS or BEDAZZLED JEANS (pack an extra pair in case of emergency) 3. Underwear (at least three pairs in case of emergency) 4. comfortable all black sneakers/shoes 5. IDEA jacket (only IDEA jackets are allowed to be worn off the bus) 6. Socks 7. appropriate pajamas for hotel 8. solid black belt

Personal Items 1. Toothbrush 2. Toothpaste 3. body soap 4. Shampoo 5. brush/comb 6. Deodorant 7. any facial products you use 8. any hair products you use 9. ladies: feminine products 10. Lotion 11. Sunscreen 12. umbrella/poncho

Electronics 1. Digital or disposable cameras will be carried by chaperones. They will be used to take photos on the trip but will be held with chaperones over night. 2. Cell phones will be carried by the chaperones. They will only be used to take pictures or make phone calls to parents/guardians. They will be held with chaperons over night. ****No iPods, Game Boys, PSPs, Laptops, etc.***

Other (Optional) 1. Bring money if you want child to buy souvenirs and/or snacks. 2. Blanket and/or pillow. 3. Bring a box of snacks for the bus ride.
