Eric Schmidt, Google

“Our policy at Facebook is literally to hire as many talented engineers as we can find. There just aren't enough people who are trained and have these skills today.“

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook

“Learning to write programs stretches your mind, and helps you think better, creates a way of thinking about things that I think is helpful in all domains.“

No projects and no time to write them

It’ll take a lot of work. You’d have to be

crazy to take this on.

No ‘group’ to belong to.

Our volunteers“ 1. It’s like being teleported back to when I first learnt to code, when it was just about fun and curiosity 2. As kids, we learned to code mostly from free stuff shared by people just for the fun of it. Kinda creates a virtuous cycle where you feel compelled to do the same.”

"Ben came home bursting at the seams with excitement about his Code Club session. He couldn't wait to download it at home and continue. If he ends up working for Apple and keeping me in my old age I shall know who to thank!"
