THE SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE O F ELECTRIC POLARITY

We have p r o g r e s s e d to a point whe re you can now comprehend why God

divided His thinking ,into p a i r s of opposite e l ec t r i ca l m a t e s to make two pola r -

i z ed uni ts of eve ry creat ing thing, whether m i n e r a l , vegetable o r an imal .

What was Godqs purpose i n c r ea t i ng your po la r ized body?

GOD'S ONLY PURPOSE IN CREATING HIS WHOLE UNIVERSE O F

BODIES IS TO EXPRESS HIS ONE IDEA O F LOVE, AS MANIFESTED BY

HIM IN GIVING AND REGIVING BY EVERY OPPOSITE MATE IN NATURE

TO EVERY OTHER OPPOSITE MATE

Th i s f a c t we m u s t thoroughly unders tand . If we thoroughly unders tand i t

we can then know that the solution of a l l of l i f e ' s p rob l ems l i es in our knowl-

edge of HOW TO MANIFEST THAT LOVE PRINCIPLE. That i s a l l that life

i s f o r . We have jus t begun t o l e a r n i t s l e s s o n s .

When we do unders tand i t we wil l then know what m a t t e r and motion IS- - -- - -

and whv God c r e a t e d m a t t e r and motion.

We will then unders tand tha t L 0 V E I S L A W - -the one and only law

in God's universe - -the ONE DIVINE LAW.

We will a lso rea l ize tha t love i s POWER- -the only power in a l l the

universe .

With that knowledge we can use tha t -PO WER and command that LAW to

work with us - - for we will then know that God ' s LAW i s our Law. Each m a n

will knowingly command HIS 0 WN DIVINE LAW to obey h is omnipotent will.

Each man who thus commands h is law t o work WITH h im will be able to author -

itatively say: "I and m y F a t h e r a r e ONE. "

You a r e studying THE DIVINE ILIAD MESSAGE to acquire th i s omnis -

cience.

To the extent that you do acqui re it you will have t ransformed yourself

f r o m one who i s his own v ic t im of self -inflicted punishment, fo r lack of that

knowledge, to one who h a s found i t s mighty power in i t s acquisit ion.

Let u s , therefore , look deeply into t h i s idea of God's purpose of making

two opposite kinds of bodies of a l l things of His c rea t ing

ONENESS - -UNITY --BALANCE

GOD IS ONE. God c r e a t e d count less p a i r s of oppositely conditioned ones

in order that they should mani fes t ONENESS through interchange of giving

and regiving to void the i r seeming sepa ra t enes s .

GOD IS UNITY. God c r e a t e d count less disunited p a i r s of seemingly sep -

a ra te units in o rde r that e a c h disunited one of each seemingly separa te pa i r

could manifest i t s unity with the whole by equal interchange with the whole.

P a i r s of seemingly sepa ra t ed and disunited man-uni t s will fulfill God ' s idea

and purpose when these count less unit p a i r s know each other a s the One

E t e r n a l Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL

BROTHERHOOD O F ALL MEN. When man finally knows of h is unity with

God a s the One Universal Being, the One P r e s e n c e in al l this universe , he

will have p rogressed beyond the idea of the brotherhood of the many, fo r the

many will have become voided in the i r unity a s ONE.

GOD IS BALANCE. , God divided His IDEA of balance in His Self by

crea t ing pa i r s of unbalanced conditions - -each of which i s the opposite of the

o ther . He commanded each of these unbalanced p a i r s to seek balance

through each other by interchanging the i r unbalanced conditions.

THAT COMMAND IS GOD'S ONE INVIOLATE LAW. IT IS GOD'S ONLY

LAW. IT IS THE LAW O F BALANCED GIVING AND REGIVING. IT IS THE

LAW O F LOVE,

Your whole purpose i n life i s t o comprehend that law.

You cannot fulfill Godq s law unless you do comprehend i t .

You cannot comprehend it unless you des i r e to comprehend i t .

You cannot fulfill your d e s i r e to command the law to work WITH you until

vou manifest vour d e s i r e throueh action.

There i s no other way f o r you to command God's law to fulfill your d e s i r e

than . thr ough the action of GIVING.

The only lesson of your life i s to l ea rn how to GIVE. That i s a l l . T h e r e

i s no other . You do not have to l e a r n how to TAKE for you cannot take with-

out breaching Gods s law

Nor can vou RECEIVE that which vou have not GIVEN, therefore have no

thought of receiving.

MEDITATE UPON THE FOLLOWING THOUGHTS UNTIL YOU KNOW THEM

YOU have always been--as God h a s always been. God created your body

around the e terna l YOU a s one of a divided pa i r of bodies. That which you

think of a s your body i s but one unbalanced half of one balanced whole.

Neither half i s , nor can be the whole.

God gave you a visible body to manifes t the e terna l YOU i n the visible

universe. YOU des i red to have a body to manifest your Self. YOUR des i re

was God's des i r e . God des i red that you should have a body to manifest His

Self. Your Self and God's Self a r e ONE.

In creat ing your body God c rea ted seeming SEPARATENESS, seeming

.DISUNITY and seeming UNBALANCE.

God divided all bodies into p a i r s of oppositely unbalanced conditions.

To one half of each pa i r God gave one condition. To the other half He

gave the other condition. Every idea in God's universe i s manifested in m a t -

t e r by two oppositely conditioned bodies which perpetually interchange to s i m -

ulate each idea by interchanging motion.

God separated all of His divided p a i r s of divided bodies by equators.

Equators a r e invisible planes of balance which divide a l l pa i r s of oppositely

unbalanced conditions.

One half of that which your body needs for i t s continuance--or for i t s

extension- -or for i t s reproduction- - i s not in your body. It i s in the other

half of your body. It i s on the other s ide of the equator which divides your

body into two opposite conditions, Pe is i n the invisible half of you.

Conversely, one half of that which the other half of your body needs i s in - --

Page 6: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

YOUR body. God gave to the other half of you what YOU need--and He gave

to YOU what the o ther half needs

Without that o ther half which i s the other side of your equator which sep -

a r a t e s you f r o m your oppositely polarized other half, you could no m o r e con-

tinue your bodily exis tence than one ce l l of a storage bat tery could continue

to operate without the o ther .

A L L THOUGHTS AND ALL BODIES ARE TWO

What we have sa id about the creat ion of mater ia l bodies i n p a i r s , a l so

applies to thought bodies , for they a lso a r e created in pa i r s .

Your Mind-Soul i s ONE. Your Soul i s YOU. Your body is not YOU.

F r o m the Mind-Soul of the ETERNAL YOU your electr ic thinking extends a s

TWO. Your e l ec t r i c thinking c r e a t e s thought bodies formed in the image of

Mind conceiving. Thought bodie s a r e TWO . C oncepts of your Mind center

the TWO pulsat ions of your e lec t r ic thinking a s a s t i l l f-i lcrum centers a

moving lever . The moving lever i s TWO, extending f r o m ONE.

Your e te rna l Soul i s the s t i l l fu lc rum of YOU. Your THINKING i s the

lever of motion which c r e a t e s pulsing thought bodies--and your physical

action i s the lever which c r e a t e s pulsing ma te r i a l bodies.

Your power is i n your Soul. Your ability to express that power i s depend-

ent upon the m e a s u r e of vour awareness of your Soul a s the fu lcrum of your

body--or of the Unive r sa l God Soul a s the fulcrum of God's Universal body.

And i t i s a l so dependent upon the m e a s u r e of your awareness of the

ONENESS of YOUR Soul with the Universal Soul.

How can 1 burn these thoughts into the comprehension of your ve ry Soul?

Page 7: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY Page 486 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

To c a r r y them fu r the r , without pausing to make them a p a r t of your Conscious

KNOWING, would but confuse you.

They MUST be c a r r i e d further e l se you will never comprehend what hap-

pens to your body af ter death- -in that interval between death and rebi r th- -

nor will you comprehend how you acquired a body o r why you cannot keep it--

nor will you ever dynamically KNOW what your Soul i s in relation to your

Mind, and to your body.

Let us pause, therefore , and exemplify these thoughts objectively.

GIVE HEED TO THESE NEW THOUGHTS

1. F i r s t , we mus t revise our concepts concerning the Soul. It is commonly

believed that only humanshave Souls. I t i s a l so commonly believed that each

individual has an individual Soul which i s a s sepa ra te and apart f rom a l l other

Souls as people a r e sepa ra te and apar t f r o m each o ther .

This i s not a t rue concept. There i s but One Soul a s the re i s but One

Mind. The Soul i s the Des i re qualitv in Mind which causes Mind to want to

c rea te bodies to manifest divine idea. But Mind c r e a t e s bodies by extending

them f rom st i l l cen te r s . The s t i l l center of eve ry body is i t s Soul. I t i s the

Light of God i t s Crea to r .

Mind i s creating bodies everywhere. There i s no point anywhere in the

universal equilibrium which underlies a l l motion where a body i s not being

created, no mat ter how u l t r a microscopic o r macrocosmic that body i s .

Every point in the universal equilibrium i s a point of des i r e which i s the seed

for the extension of bodies.

Within every electron, atom, sun or galaxy is a st i l l center f r o m which

Page 8: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY Page 487 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

point the des i re t o extend a b o d ~ causes the extension of a bodv.

That s t i l l cen te r of everv bodv i s i$s Soul. It i s where God, the C r e a t o r ,

takes his sea t t o unfold and refold that'particular bodv in accordance with the

One Law He h a s m a d e bv means of which He governs His divided universe of

polarized e lec t r ic opposites

Jus t a s God i s everywhere so, likewise, i s Soul everywhere.

MAN'S ONE SOUL

The Soul of m a n i s the s t i l l center of h is Consciousness. That i s the

point of KNOWING f r o m which des i re to create h is body extends. That i s

the sea t of h is Mind f rom which h is thinking extends in two polarized

directions. \

To better visual ize this principle refer back to figure 15 on page 171.

Also refer to e v e r y diagram and paragraph which explains The Divine Trinity.

The Soul i s the DESIRE of Mind to manifest idea of Mind. The Soul

manifests Mind-idea in imaged f o r m by seemingly dividing and extending the

Light of Mind THROUGH polarized opposites.

The two e lec t r i c workers of God's thinking wind these two divided lights

into dense bodies surrounded by gaseous counterparts. They then unwind

dense bodies fo r redistr ibut ion into space in order to repeat that process

over and over again fo rever .

MAN'S MANY SOULS

Man's body is not one. I t is composed of countless millions, o r even

billions of l i t t le spheres which a r e insulated f rom each other by space s u r -

rounding each one, just a s the suns of heaven a r e likewise insulated f r o m

Page 9: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

each other . Each visible sphere is one half of a body. I t s surrounding cubic

wave-field of space i s the other half.

Every one of these purposeful little spher ica l par t ic les a r e centered by

the still Light of God. That sti l l Light is the Soul of each of the millions of

bodies which f o r m the body of a man.

We will necessar i ly have to await a fu r the r expansion of this idea until

la te r , but for the present we will briefly say tha t every visible body has i ts

invisible, but equal m e a s u r e of electr ic potential in space. Space i s not

indefinite or infinite in measure , nor is space f o r m l e s s . SPACE IS THE

OTHER MEASURED HALF O F EVERY BODY WHICH FLOATS IN IT, AND

THAT OTHER HALF IS NOT ONLY MEASURED BUT IS BOUNDED BY A

WAVE -FIELD O F DEFINITE FORM.

God makes spher ica l bodies of visible dense ma t t e r surrounded by cubic

bodies of invisible expanded mat ter . God then compresses His cube -spheres

into many f o r m s consisting of many cube - spheres . There a r e no other

fo rms in Nature than these cube -spheres and sect ions of them. All spheroi- '-.-

dal fo rms a r e spheres i n the making and unmaking, while invisible fo rms in

space surrounding the visible spheres which center them, a r e cubes and

cube sections. All c r y s t a l fo rms in the chemical e lements procure theie

visible f o r m s f r o m the i r invisible counterparts in space .

That i s all we can s a y of this subject at this t ime . We will expand this

idea la ter when we a r e ready for i t .

ALL BODIES ARE TWO

2 . W e mus t revise our concepts concerning bodies.

Page 10: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY Page 489 _ _ _ _ _ a - - - P - - - - - - - - - - - e - - - - - - - - - - - - - ~ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ~ ~ - ~ m - - ~ - - - - -

It i s commonly believed by eve ry man that h is body i s that organism

which i s contained within his skin. That i s a totally wrong conception and

m u s t be revised.

Your actual bodv reaches a long way under the ear th , and verv high into

the heavens above the ear th . You a r e seemingly separated f rom that other

visible and invisible par t of vour bodv, but actuallv vou a r e not, for what

vou think of a s vour bodv could not survive five minutes if severed f rom i t s

extensions f rom e a r t h and space .

You a r e separated f rom vour extensions by equators only. Half of what

vour visible bodv needs is on the other side of the equator which divides your

e lec t ro -positive visibie body f.rom i t s e lec t ro -negative invisible mate. - Con-

verse lv , half of what vour invisible bodv needs is within vou.

I t is absolutelv imperative that each half of vour bodv constantlv give t o

the other half, and i t i s a s cer ta in that each giving shall be regiven a s that

night will be followed by day.

What you think of a s your body is a patterned extension of the ear th, to

which you a r e inescapably rooted, and i t i s a lso an extension of space s u r -

rounding the ea r th , within which you a r e temporar i ly compressed. It i s

m e r e l y a smal l nucleus of a v e r y extended dual body which i s hundreds, if

not thousands of t imes l a rge r than your visible body.

F igure 62 exemplifies the dual e lec t r ic wave-field which encloses every

body-pair . The low electr ic potential which surrounds every visible body

i s equal to that of i t s dense center but unequal in volume, the outer decen-

t ra ted half being thousands of t i m e s g rea te r in volume than the concentrated

inner half.

F igure 65 i l lus t ra tes the sequential inbreathing and outbreathing which i s

Conversely, the two light radiating lanes a r e degenerative light which

unwinds its visible body by expanding it into space until it becomes invisible.

All express ions of GodPs idea, a s manifested in bodies, a r e continuous.

Bodies never c e a s e t o be, even though they disappear . Even though they pass

beyond the range of man t s sensing they do not pass beyond the range of his

MISCONCEPTIONS REGARDING BODIES

What you think of a s your LIVING body i s that p a r t of you which you can

see when you look into a m i r r o r . Your senses t e l l your senses that your

body is alive. They te l l you that your hea r t i s beating, and that a l l organs of

your body a r e functioning to make sf your body a living organic thing.

God has given your senses the power of perceiving only a smal l range of

Page 17: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

the whole c i rc le of effect. That small range would not extend over twenty

degrees of the whole th ree hundred and sixty which would allow you to see

effects that a r e now invisible if you had but another ten degrees .

The human r a c e i s gradually increasing i t s range. When we discover that

increase in a few people - -out of the many- -we ca l l it ex t ra sensory perception. -

We will talk about that l a t e r .

Your present range of senses te l l you, however, that your body is abso-

lutely dependent upon the ea r th and i t s surrounding space, but you do not

realize your identity with that pa r t of your body which is outside of you.

That which is your body i s a l so the ear th . Your body w.as extruded f r o m

Earth--pushed out f r o m it into space. Your body radiated f r o m the E a r t h but

Ear th ' s gravi ty chains you to Ear th . The body which E a r t h gave to you you

must regive t o Ear th .

Conversely, E a r t h was compressed f r o m space. Your body, therefore,

i s an extension of both E a r t h and space. Equators sepa ra te you f r o m both but

that par t of your body which i s on the other side of those equators m u s t be

continually extended to you, e l se you cannot: survive

You would die of s tarvat ion if your roots of E a r t h did not constantly extend

the nourishment ot E a r t h ' s soil t o replenish your body. Conversely, the soil

of Ear th would lose i t s abili ty to give life to you if you did not regive to it

equally .

You were not born f r o m E a r t h a t some t ime now passed . You a r e contin-

ually and perpetually being reborn f rom E a r t h which gives you life in exchange

for your death. E a r t h needs your death that you give to it just a s you need - -

the life which it gives to you.

Nor was your f i r s t breath which your counterpart in space gave to you

that which alone gave you We. During your whole life that other polarized - half of you gave life to you in order that you may live. You, iatmrn, give

your death to your counterpart in space in order that it may live.

We now approach the mos t difficult of all subjects , the idea of reincar -

nation. Reincarnat ion i s difficult t o explain to people of this age because the

concepts of th is age in the unfolding of man a r e s t i l l too primitive f o r anyone

to comprehend many facts of Nature which a r e beyond the i r limited range of

sensing. That ex t remely l imited range of sensing of this ear ly stage of m a n ' s

unfolding is h i s g r e a t handicap t o comprehension of this principle.

When people s a y casually to me : "Do you believe in reincarnation?

P l e a s e t e l l m e about it", I shudder at the t a sk f o r it i s impossible to explain

reincarnat ion to anybody whose concepts of bodies, and life and death of

bodies, a r e what people of the p r e s e n t age think they a r e .

Many of the previous lessons w e r e wri t ten to build new concepts of

Na tu re ' s workings which would m a k e this m o s t obvious fac t of Nature under-

standable. In these lessons we m a d e i t c l ea r that a l l bodies, whether thought

bodies, o r m a t e r i a l bodies --such as sounds, an imals , s u s s o r galaxies a r e

but l ight-waves, The lesson previous to this was devoted entirely to the

purpose of building new concepts, such a s the duality of bodies, a s a bas i s

fo r a better understanding of the a s yet unknown fac ts of reincarnation.

These new concepts of the polar izat ion of bodies into concentrated and

decentrated, visible and invisible p a i r s which interchange their polar i ty fo r -

eve r in repetative cycles a r e f i r s t s teps i n peering behind the scenes of Godss

workshop where the making of bodies takes place. I t will be necessary to

describe how God builds vis ible bodies by t ransforming them f r o m the i r invis -

ible counterparts, and then r e v e r s e s that p rocess so that visible ones again

become invisible. Science h a s suspected that such a p rocess exis ts , but has

not yet become able to solve it.

Science mere ly says: "Matter seemingly e m e r g e s f r o m space and i s then

swallowed up by space, but it m a y be that m a n will never be able to solve this

g rea t mystery of the creat ive p r o c e s s of m a t t e r . " We will slowly build up a

complete explanation of th is p r o c e s s of Nature.

THE ILLUSION O F DISAPPEARANCE AND REAPPEARANCE

1. Consider this thought. P l a c e a g l a s s of water on your garden wall

some surkrky morning. When you go to see it in the afternoon that body of

water is not the re .

You do not say that the water is dead. You say it has disappeared, and

you know WHY i t has disappeared, and WHERE it is. You know that it has

but changed i t s polarity f r o m i t s posit ive dense condition to i t s expanded neg-

ative condition. That visible body of water which occupied s ix cubic inches

has evaporated into a la rge body of invisible vapors which now occupy a space

of s ix thousand cubic inches.

Page 21: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY Page 501 _ - - - _ - _ - - - - - 9 0 - - - - - - - - - ~ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ~ - - -

You know that even though that body of water has disappeared it does not

cease to exis t . You know that it s t i l l has a body--hot the s a m e kind of bodv- -

not one which you could drink o r wash your hands in--but s t i l l i t has a bodv.

I t might even become visible a s a cloud, and disappear again.

You never think of it a s having ceased to be, for you know it will come

again when cold air contracts i t to its dense concentrative polar condition.

When ra in f i l l s that empty cup you can say that i t 'has repeated its con-

dition a s water . Then when it again becomes vapor you can again say that it

has repeated its condition a s vapor. *. ,

If you totally d i s r e g a r d the thought of repetition of i t s two opposite con- ...

dikiows' and subst i tute the thought of the e t e rna l continuity of that body of water

which forever a p p e a r s within the range of your vision, then disappears beyond

that range fo r an in te rva l before it again reappears , you will have taken the

f i r s t simple s tep toward a comprehension of the sequential interchange of

visible bodies with the i r invisible counterpar ts . -

That real izat ion is what H must now i m p r e s s upon you until you fully real ize

that each interval. of t ime between the disappearance and reappearance of any

body is not a discontinuance of the body- -it i s mere ly a "blackout" of your

senses , When things disappear f r o m your vision, o r your hearing, they have

not ceased to be. They a r e not "deadll. And when they reappear within your

vision o r hearing they a r e not reborn into l ife. They have but again come

within your range of vision o r hearing.

Together with the above realization you must fix in your Consciousness

that the Soul of that disappeared body still IS- -and in that Soul i s the same

Page 22: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY Page 502 ----__--0--_--9---------------------------------------------------q---

desire that created the disappeared body. That desire of the Soul to unfold

the form of an idea will cause i t to reappear, to again unfold, forever and for -

ever as a continuity which i s forever changing, but never ceases.

CHANCING SOUND BODIES

2. We must exemplify this thought to make i t a par t of our knowing. Con-

sider, therefore a body of sound you create by talking. When the sound

ceases it is not "dead". You no longer hear it--but if there is a cliffside up

the valley, and you. have talked loudly enough, your voice will again be heard - --

as it condenses into smal l waves by impacting against the cliff. It i s the same - - - - - -

voice, and the same sound continued on& into i ts spatial counterpart. It i s

still living. It is a continuity of .itself. It i s the same sound extended from

the point of desire where i t s body form was created. We call it an echo. It

is just as appropriate t o ca l l i t a mi r ro r , for sound-waves a r e light which

reflect light.

THE ILLUSION O F REPETITION

3 . Consider this same sound again brought into appearance three thou-

sa.nd miles away by the cs-ndemaer 0% your radio whi.ch. shortens the length-

ened waves to the dimensions created by you when you spoke them.

Again we say they were mot "dead" when they disappeared three thousand

rni.les away from their birth. They but disappeared f rom the range within

which your senses were able to perceive them.

Ns matter where upon this earth ys.u set your condenser to restore the

dimensions s f th.ose sound bodies to .their original wave lengths and frequen-

cies you will hear those sounds again in their original pattern and identity.

Page 23: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

If Churchill spoke them at their point of des i re , Churchil lqs identity was

"reincarnated" - - o r "reborn" - -or "repeated" --wherever they newly appeared.

It was the same voice - -same pat tern- - same charac ter i s t ics in every respect

wherever r e -condensed into reappearance

CONTINUITY

If these facts a r e t rue to natural law we a r e not c o r r e c t when we use the

t e r m s death--birth--disappearance --repetition--reappearance o r reincar -

nation. How can we be cor rec t in the u s e of such t e r m s when we know that

there is a continuity of such bodies --and that nothing has changed in them but

their dimensions and their polarity ?

Likewise, if t h e i r recognized identity and pat tern was that of Churchill,

who spoke them--or Paderewski, who played them--or Caruso , who sang

them--why, then, should we question whether o r no we lose our individuality

when that body which.we ca l l John Jones becomes recondensed into i t s or ig i -

nal pat tern and dimensions af ter having "disappeared" beyond the range of our

vision by the na tura l process of expansion and i t s consequent change of wave

length's and frequencies?

All bodies a r e the resul t of des i re of Mind to crea te bodies. Desire of

Mind i s eternal-- therefore al l bodies a r e e ternal in their continuity.

We should not even say that they a r e eternal ly repetative - -for "repet i-

tion" i s suggestive of discontinuous in tervals be.tween each repetition.

When night comes we no longer s e e the distant mountain. Our range of

vision does not p e r m i t us to see through the dark. In the morning the moun-

tain reappears within our range of vis ion- -but we do not think of i t a s another

Page 24: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

mountain, reborn, --nor do we think of i t a s a repetition. We think of i t a s a

continuity, for the mountain has never ceased to be.

We could not s e e i t because the shor t light-waves which permit us to s e e

i t i n daytime reverse the i r polar i ty . They become s o long that their slow

vibrations shut out al l objects f r o m our eyes which respond only to short l ight- -

waves of high frequencies. In other words THE LIGHT WHICH OUR EYES

.RESPOND TO HAS REVERSED ITS POLARITY BEYOND OUR RANGE O F

SENSING.

If we des i r e to know what happens to our bodies af ter death, and i f we

wish to thoroughly understand the i l lusion of reincarnation, we must f i r s t

thoroughly understand what we m e a n by the t e r m " reve r sa l of polarity". And

we must a l so know what we mean by the t e r m "cycles".

WE EXPLAIN "POLARITY REVERSAL1I, AND "CYCLES"

POSTULATE NO. 1. A11 bodies a r e continuous. They never cease. They

mere ly r e v e r s e their polar i ty TWICE i n every CYCLE of their e ternal jour - --- - ney within and beyond the range of our sensing.

POSTULATE NO. 2. All bodies a r e expressed 9.n cycles . A cycle is a ---- - - continuous two-way spi ra l journey f r o m the expanded condition of a body to its t-

opposite compressed condition, and back again to i t s expanded condition.

A most famil iar example of a cycle is DAY and NIGHT. Each i s the

opposite half. ~$5 the other.

POSTULATE NO. 3. There a r e two points of r e s t in every cycle. At each -

of these two r e s t points each opposite condition r e v e r s e s and becomes the

other.

Page 25: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

DAY i s a contract ion of light-waves into visibility. NIGHT i s a r e v e r s a l

of the cycle. Light -waves expand and become invisible.

In other words a cycle i s that journey in every wave which the c r e s t of the

wave takes to become its trough, and back again to i t s c r e s t

A cycle of thought i s a concentrated thought -body followed by i t s decent ra-

tion into indefinite f o r m .

It i s the act ion and reaction piston s troke of the universal pump which is

the heartbeat of God's bodv.

It i s a complete inbreathing-outbreathing of every body i n the universe

which eternal ly b rea thes i n cycles of changing wave dimensions.

It is these breathing cycles which cause bodies to appear within our range

of vision, then d isappear beyond that range

It is the point of conception preceding the birth of a man, through his l i fe

to maturi ty , then back to the s a m e point of conception through h is "death".

We think of l i fe a s beginning a t bir th and ending in death. We have not

yet learned to think of i t a s a continuity, such a s the cycle of a piston s troke

in an, expansion-contraction engine--yet one is a s continuous a s the other

At middle life our generative power r e v e r s e s . We then BEGIN to "die1' ,

just a s we BEGAN to l 'livel' for ty y e a r s ago. At that r e v e r s a l point our

visible bodies BEGIN to manifest the i r invisible halves. They a r e s t i l l

visible for another th i r ty o r for ty y e a r s before they pass beyond our range of

visibility a t that point which we c a l l "death".

Likewise they a r e s t i l l workable a s mechanical bodies f o r many y e a r s

the point where we have to give back to E a r t h and space all that we have bbr -

rowed f r o m i t .

I am often asked what happens if one i s not allowed to live h is life through,

such as dying in childhood, o r killed in war, if such a one i s deprived of the

advantages which those have who have completed the i r life cycles .

Nature balances a l l of h e r divided cycles . If the visible body "disappears"

at twenty y e a r s of age it means only tHat the whole l ife cycle i s shortened.

i-/

The invisible half of the body shortens i t s r e s t period to balance the shorten-

ing of the "work" period. The youth who i s killed " re incarnates t1 sooner than

he otherwise would.

Remember always that the t ime element i n eve ry cycle of every kind

throughout a l l Creat ion i s equally divided between its opposed halves. The

two r e v e r s a l points a r e equal. Action and reaction of positive and negative

halves of polar ized bodies a r e equal. Your inbreathing period is equal to your

outbreathing period.

If a m a n generates h is concentrated body toward "life" f o r ten--twenty--

thirty o r fifty y e a r s to manifest God by "work" he m u s t decentrate the other

half of h i s body fo r an equal period to manifest God through r e s t .

That i s law. The compress ion period of every cycle m u s t be followed by

an equal expansion period. There is no exception to th i s law, so that any

shortening of any life cycle by destruction of one half of i t is balanced in the

other half.

The following lessons will make this principle m o r e c lear to you a s we

proceed with fur ther unfolding of the continuity of the opposite expressions of

Page 27: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

life, which we wrongly call "lifetf and '.'death1'. These a r e NOT TWO, they

a r e ONE.

AMAZINGLY NEW CONCEPTS

Both halves of our bodies e terna l ly live. They never die. There i s no - death in the universe anywhere, no r i n anything. God lives. God's universe - . - - - > ---.

is a living unive r s e .

Our bodies "workt' for awhile, then they relax, and re s t , before working

again. But relaxation is not "death". The electr ic heartbeat of this living

universe works f o r one half of its pulsebeat. It relaxes during the other half--

but each expresses the continuity of life. .Our bodies "work" at manifesting

God during the positive half of t h e i r body cycle. They then relax--decentrate--

into the negative half of the i r bodies to RENEW THEIR POWER to again m a n i -

f e s t God through work.

Our bodies a r e electr ic r e c o r d s of God's thinking.

God's thinking is continuous - - therefore the recording of God's thinking i s ------ - --- -

continuous .

God' s thinking is concentrative and de centrative . Concentration and

decentration a r e opposite halves of the same thing. They spring f r o m each

other . They m e r g e into each o ther . They interchange to become each o ther .

They continue each other THROUGH each other.

There is no interval- -no void - -no cessat ion anywhere in the continuity

of God's thinking

God's concentrative thinking manifests what we ca l l ' f l ife". GodP s decen- - t ra t ive thinking manifests what we ca l l "death". Life and death a r e opposite

Page 28: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

halves 'of the same thing. They spring f rom each other. They merge into

each other. They interchange to become each other . They continue each

other THROUGH each other . --.-----

And so it i s with each p a i r of opposites in a l l of God's divided universe. -- -

Night is a continuation of day and da rk continues light until dark again

becomes visible light. Heat extends f r o m cold, a s cold contracts to born it.

Cold then extends f r o m hea t a s heat expands to born it. Each continues the

other as each becomes the other . There is no gap, no void, to interrupt the

absolute continuity of eve ry effect of motion into its opposite effect. The

CAUSE of a l l EFFECT is e te rna l . If t he re i s any gap, o r void, o r discon-

tinuity in EFFECT, CAUSE could not be e terna l .

Our present limited range of perception has borned the idea of discontinu-

i ty in us. Our concept of "death" is one of the resul t s of that gap in our range

of perception.

FACTS O F NATURE WHICH ESCAPE US

The Soul is the fu lcrum f r o m which the polar ized lever of motion extends

to manifest a polarized body. All bodies a r e e lec t r ic , therefore all. bodies

a r e polarized.

A polarized body means a body which is divided into two seemingly sep-

a ra te pa r t s because of two opposite conditions which cause that seeming

separateness .

The whole universal body is polarized. It is divided into compressed light

waves of ma t t e r which you can see , and into expanded ones which you cannot , ---- - - - see . -

Page 29: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

A good example of a polarized body i s a storage bat tery. One division i s

compressed . The other i s expanded. They interchange to find balance i n

each other . M a n D s storage bat ter ies can become depolarized, or "dead" - -

Nature ' s s to rage bat ter ies cannot become depolarized. They cannot d ie .

Nature ' s s torage ba t t e r i e s a r e bodies. Every body in Nature i s a permanent -

live s torage ba t te ry . Every body consis ts of dense ma t t e r surrounded by the - tenuous ma t t e r of space , such a s a sun, o r planet. 1

God i s LIFE. In Him there is no death. ---

Bodies manifes t that which the i r Crea tor IS. They cannot manifest that

which He i s NOT,

All bodies always manifest l i fe . Bodies a r e a s e t e r n a l . a s the ideas which ----

they manifest a r e e t e rna l .

The reason tha t a man-made electkic storage bat tery can become "dead"

i s because the e l ec t r i c cu r ren t which caused the bat tery to pulse i s withdrawn.

When the charging fo rce ceases to polar ize, the bat tery depolar izes .

God never withdraws the e lec t r ic current of His motivating fo rce f r o m

any of His Crea t ing bodies, Depolarization i s impossible in God's ever living

s torage ba t te r ies because the pulsing heartbeat of eve ry body i s ete rna1l.y

"geared" into the e terna l ly living heartbeat of GodPs e l ec t r i c thinking.

That s t i l l point of des i r e which motivates every body i s e ternal ly p resen t

in every body. I t is the Soul which centers every body i n the universe f r o m

giant s t a r to a speck of dust on a butterfly 's wing.

Le t m e r e c a l l G o d o s words, in reference to this thought, a s written in

His Message , "The Divine Iliad".

Proceeding in this fashion we will te l l , s tep by step, how God seemingly

individual ONES. Also how God seemingly extends countless many changing,

and differently conditioned visible bodies of complex fo rms , f rom the ONE

formless , unchanging, unmeasurable and unconditioned Source of the ent i re

divided body- -and that one simple fo rm is the cube -sphere. The sphere is - the visible compressed half of the one polarized body. The cube i s the invis -

ible other expanded half.

This one body f o r m i s in the making and the unmaking everywhere in the

universe. When the visible sphere i s completed in i t s making into a t rue

sphere i t s invisible other half i s then a t r u e cube.

Together the cube-sphere is the basic one form of a l l bodies. Your own

body is composed ent irely of cube-spheres, and so i s the body of the violet,

insect , elephant, automobile or ocean l iner . The complexity of Nature 's

countle s s thousands of fo rms disappears i n the simplicity of the cube -spheres ,

of which a l l f o r m s of animal, vegetable and minera l life a r e composed.

It may be di%%icult for you to think of your body in t e r m s of cube-spheres

when you a r e s o accustomed to thinking of your body a s you see it in the

m i r r o r . In it you see a body with legs , a r m s , head, hands and feet. I t is

even difficult for you to think of your body a s composed of a toms. If, how-

ever , you earnes t ly des i re t o lcnaw what happens to the pa t tern of your body

s t ruc ture , and of the countless thoughts which you have conceived during the

only kind of life you know, and expressed in the only kind of body you know,

you will give much thought to the cube-sphere wave-field which is the basic

f o r m of God's Creat ion.

All other f o r m s a r e combinations of cube-spheres, o r they a r e c r o s s

In this knowledge of the inter-relationship of the cube-sphere l ies the

answer to thought-transmission between living people and those whose bodies

have passed beyond our range of sensing. This much hoped for possibility

will come within the range of your comprehension, and possibly within your

powers of prac t ice , when you KNOW that thought bodies a r e the basis of the

material bodies with which you a r e famil iar .

The sphere is the r e s u l t of the concentrative pulsation of GodP s thinking

which pulls inward f r o m within to focus the light of God's thinking to a point

of s t i l lness , around w ~ c h a thought body can be formed. This causes that

universal effect, which we know a s "gravitation", and the still paint of con-

centration is a center of gravity. GRAVITATION MULTIPLIES POWER. - --

The cube is the r e su l t of the decentrative pulsation of God's thinking which

the opposite effect which we know a s "radiation". RADIATION DIVIDES p-. .

No m a t t e r where you look out into Nature, whether i t be the bark, wood o r

the i r wav to, or f r o m , the balance point of the i r maturi tv at the amplitude

much in l a t e r les eons.

In other words the dual body of the cube-sphere i s growing to i t s matur i ty - .-------

After they have matured to the maximum of their generative power a t t h e i r

octave wave amplitudes, they begin to r e tu rn to the i r spatial body f r o m which

they emerged- - a s your body likewise does.

Remember , however, that e a r t h and space express "death" to give "life" - - -

to the compressed half of your body. You then give "life" back to the P --

expanded half of your body by giving it your "death". But why think of them -

a s life and dea th? Why not think of them a s the two expressions of life which

a r e manifest in a l l things--ACTION--and REST f r o m action. -

Learn to think of life and death that way- -as an interchanging continuity,

instead of a s the beginning and end. Think that way concerning al l bodies, --

and all actions of al l bodies which perpetually GIVE and a r e being REQIVEN,

Think of the manifestation of the love principle in al l actions of all bodies.

If you even throw a ba l l in the a i r to manifest life by charging space, you

a r e also manifesting death by discharging ea r th of exactly the measure of

potential which ea r th extended f rom i t . Conversely, the ball regives l t l i f e l l

to Earth and "death" to space by the interchange of one body condition with

the other. You do exactly the same thing when the inner half of your body

breathes out to the outer half. You give "life" to the outer half of your body

by extending "deathn f rom the inner half.

Realize always that a l l bodies in a l l Creation a r e the electr ic recordings

of God's concentrative -decentrative thinking. Both pulsations of God's think -

ing a re creative--not just one pulsation. Both a r e constructive. Both express

life --life interchanging with life. There i s no "death", nor destruction, in

either pulsation of God's continuous thinking.

Diverging rays which leave the sun discharge the sun, but when those

same rays converge toward E a r t h they charge E a r t h with life. Negative d i s -

charge f r o m any body becomes positive charge to every other body. Life . .

flows continually. There is no death.

WE LOOK OUT INTO THE CUBE-SPHERES OF SPACE

We can better visualize the cube-sphere by looking up into the s t a r r y

heavens. On a clear night you will see countless s t a r s which a r e a l l t rue

spheres - -or oblate ones which a r e not yet completed--or which have been

completed and a r e now being transformed into the i r opposite spatial counter -

Around each s t a r you will see tremendous expanses of dark space. You

think of that empty space as f o r m l e s s . You cannot possibly s e e a cubic f o r m

surrounding e v e r y perfectly spher ica l s t a r . Your s e n s e s will not pe rmi t you

to see them, but your Mind will p e r m i t you to KNOW many things which your

senses cannot possibly perce ive . See Fig . 70.

W E MAKE A SUPREME DISCOVERY

I t might help you to comprehend what i s now coming by asking you if you

have eve r cons idered why it is that all of those mil l ions of s t a r s out in space

do not c r a s h into e a c h other and wreck each other , accidentally o r o therwise?

The answer to that question is that a l l wavef ie lds --which bound, and

enclose each body-pair in the univers'e--human and otherwise - - a re insulated

f r o m each other bv invisible planes of ze ro curva ture , such a s the s ix flat

planes which enc lose a cube, beyond which light cannot p a s s without r eve r s ing

its polar i ty . See F i g . 7 1

R e v e r s a l of polar i ty is the insulator which keeps a l l wave-fields in the

universe i n balance with each other , and insu res the i r center ing suns f r o m

bodies to balance always with each o ther ' s continually changing orbi ts .

d l 1 Let u s now consider your own dual body in this s a m e light. Your own

body i s composed of countless bil l ions of little wave-fields which bound each

corpuscle of dense mat te r and its surrounding spa t ia l counterpart .

What is the re t o prevent these sphe res and spheroids of your body f r o m

of the whole idea of Creat ion a t tha t point of des i r e which centers the seed of

the oak.

Where, then, i s the bodv of the oak? It is i n that other half of i t s wave-

field--the invisible half within which the visible half r e s t s f rom i t s concen-

t r a t ive action. When des i r e of Mind reconcent ra tes upon i t s des i r e fo r a

concentrated f o r m of body, tha t concentrated f o r m reappears by revers ing its

polar i ty f r o m negative to posit ive. I t cen te r s the cube of i t s wave-field. It

becomes the fulcrum of the wave l eve r which pumps each patterned p a r t of

the oak f r o m i t s outer invisible body to its inner visible one.

Conversely, when des i r e of Mind decentrate s , every state of motion which

constituted the visible body expands centrifugally into the invisibility of its

cube by again revers ing its polar i ty f r o m positive to negative.

Alwavs r emember that vou have two opposed halves of your one body, jus t

a s you have two opposed swings to the pendulum of your thinking. One half of -

ANSWERS TO STUDENTS QUESTIONS

At long l a s t we a r e now enabled to answer the heretofore unanswerable

questions concerning life, death, and what happens af te r , both a s to body and

person. Many such questions have been in our f i les for a long time--not

because they could not be answered, but because the answers could not be P

understood.

New concepts had to be built t o replace pr imate ones. The real i ty and

certainty of death was not only the dread t e r r o r but the unnatural thought that

death i s GodP s will, and our resignation to the accepted fact that "God giveth, !

and He taketh away" places the s tatus of human unfolding a t a ve ry low level

of the long upward journey to mann s mountain top.

In Godu s commands to m e , a s written in THE BOOK O F INSTRUCTIONS

not yet published, He says: "Take thou manP s death away f r o m him, and

give him back to Me a s Me. " ( F r o m The Divine I l iad . )

That does not mean that the principle which we ca l l "death" is to be

removed f r o m Natural Law, nor does i t mean that "death" can be conquered--

the realization that there i s no death. And s o it i s that the preparat ion given

in the previous lessons will now enable u s t o answer questions upon that sub-

ject which would not have otherwise been understood. We open our long

closed f i les now and answer some of them.

QUESTION. "If reincarnation i s a p r o c e s s of Nature, and I come back

many t imes , why do I not r emember who I was a t other t i m e s and in other

bodies ?I1

ANSWER. You remember a l l of the e s sen t i a l s of a l l l ives you have ever

lived, but you do not r emember the non es sen t i a l s . You remember , fo r

example, how you built your body during the mi l l ions of y e a r s of des i r e

expressed by you t o have a body.

As you rebuild your new body you as semble it into the stage of completion

i t was in when you las t used it. During that per iod of your assembling you

pass through all of i t s f o r m e r stages of your unfolding f r o m your beginnings

as a spore, o r bit of protoplasm, up through the var ious epochal s tages, until

you have a r r ived a t what your body now i s .

I t took mill ions of y e a r s of des i re to do what you now do in nine months.

It m a y have taken a hundred thousand y e a r s of d e s i r e for finger nails to p r o -

duce what you now produce in your gestation per iod . You remember every-

thing you have ever added to your body and the purposefulness of every p a r t

of it.

Every ce l l of your body remembers its own par t icu lar purpose. White

corpuscles will rush to repair damage to your body with the same certainty

that a bell will ring when you p re s s a button. Why i s this ? It i s because you

remember each little addition to your body as you built i t . Your Soul r e m e m -

bers the desire and your body remembers i ts fulfillment.

You may wonder how your body remembers i t s fulfillment. GodPs record-

ing system does that for your body. As each cell of your body unfolds f r o m

i t s seed a record of that unfoldment refolds back into i t s seed. In later l e s -

sons this principle will be disclosed.

So much for the body. Regarding memories of physical or spiritual

experiences consider the things you do now which you would not do a hundred

thousand years ago. At such ear ly periods you would kill instinctively at an

ea r ly age, just a s a young lion would kill. It i s then your nature to kill with-

out compunction. Gradually you find it not good to kill. Your very nature

changes. At each birth you remember that you a re not killing. You a r e no

longer that kind of a creature.

More and more your nature changes at each rebirth, for the experiences

of killing and cruelty cease to be recorded in the refolding Soul-seed of you.

There a re other memories of past experiences such as the following:

1. When the newborn babe's cheek touches i ts motherPs breast it immedi-

ately seeks that place upon i t where it suckles. You will note that a child

immediately recognizes the difference between the flesh of the breast and the

nipple--as all animals also do. Memory i s the answer to that--cell memory

of body experiences repeated so many millions of times that such actions

become automatic.

2. If you put your fingers 'n a child's hands the child will hang so tightly

to them that you could almost pull i t up. Automatic reflexes and cell memory --I___I

of many experiences explains that. - - - -

There a r e countless other such evidences of memories of past lives which

have to do with the nature of unfolding man. Why i s i t that you wonder why

you cannot remember the name and address which identified you in other

lives ? It i s a s though the violet could not remember i t s name, or what mea-

dow it bloomed in ten years ago.

QUESTION. "It has often been suggested that a mother who dearly loved

her son could come right back and be born a s his own child. I s that possible ?

ANSWER. No, i t i s not possible to come right back. Every cycle must

be completed. The mother 's cycle i s not completed by the passing of her

visible body. She must complete her cycle in her invisible body.

If the visible half consumed fifty years i t would take an equal, period of

time before a reversal of polarity could again bring the inner body into

reappearance.

In the next ser ies of lessons this will be more explicitly explained by that

as yet unknown phenomenon of Nature which compels every polarized body to

turn inside out and outside in forever. We will defer the res t of this answer

until then.

QUESTION. "Do you know of any cases where loved ones of a family have

"reincarnated" in the same family ? "

ANSWER. I know of many which a r e possible --or even probable. We a re - -

particularly interested in any evidence which runs within the possibilities,

although no c a s e s can eve r be proven no ma t t e r what the evidence.

H e r e i s one v e r y possible case . Uncle Hubert "died" in his youth, had

r e d h a i r , was left handed, had Roman nose and a protruding back head and

distinct "cow lick" on h is unusually high forehead. He was passionately fond

of mus ic , knew a l l of the bes t c lass ic music and improvised by the hour .

Many y e a r s l a t e r a r ed ha i red , left handed child was born to h is niece who so

closely r e sembled Uncle Hubert that the older re la t ives who knew him well

were astonished by the g r e a t s imi lar i ty . Such physical fea tures a r e explain-

able , however, in familie s , but not the mental ones. This child gave evidence

of g r e a t musica l talent a t t h ree . He knew all of the operas and astonished

h i s pa ren t s and f r iends by marking t ime with a baton f r o m s t a r t to f inish a s

an expe r t o r c h e s t r a leader would do.

Genius i s not passed down in fami l ies . Children inheri t bodies--but not

Soul--or Mind. I t is v e r y r a r e that the chi ldren of a genius become aware

of genius in them. In fac t I know many sons and daughters of g rea t m e n who

have fe l t the f rus t ra t ions of infer ior i ty complexes because of not being able

to m e a s u r e up to the i r f a t h e r ' s mental s tandard.

QUESTION. "Will we e v e r be able to actually communicate with those

who have passed on?"

ANSWER. You have r a i s e d a r a the r la rge question which is not capable

of an adequate answer until m o r e of our old pr imit ive concepts have been

r ep laced with new ones which a r e in accord with Natural law

Much can be sa id , however , which i s within p resen t day comprehension.

The application of just o rd ina ry common sense to the thoughts which 1: shal l

Page 49: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY P a g e 530 - _ _ - _ _ - - P - D O - _ - O - P - _ _ 0 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ~ - - - - - - - - - - ~ - - P - - ~ - - - - - - - - - ~ - - > - - m - -

now give you will help you to see that the ve ry framing of your question has in

it a lack of common sense .

Consider these thoughts. Forget fo r a moment the idea of communicating

with those who have passed on and ask yourself how you communicate with

those who have NOT passed on.

You can communicate with another pe r son i n only two ways

1 . Through your senses , which requ i res an action which extends your

body to another body by means of spoken o r wri t ten words, Zetters o r other

physical means of communication.

2. Through your Mind, which requ i res thought t ransference without the

physical action of t ransforming thought bodies t o ma te r i a l bodies. Telepathy,

intuition and such qualit ies of the Mind a r e now rapidly unfolding to extend

sensory perception to advanced humans.

Now ask . your self this question. Since you have only two ways of com-

municating with other humans would it even occur to you to use the spoken

ar written word method i f you wished to communicate with your father while

he i s as leep?

No, of course you would not. You know tha t the re is not a sufficient

voltage of e lec t r ic cu r ren t in him to vibrate h i s senses that way unless you

awaken h is body.

If you did awaken h is body you could then extend your body to h is ,

because both would be in the same e lec t r i ca l condition.

If your father had passed on you know you could not awaken h im. He i s

not only i n a longer sleep but his polar i ty h a s been reve r sed . You cannot

Page 50: I UNIVERSAL LAW, NATURAL - Apparently Apparel · Eternal Being beyond even that idea conveyed by the expression of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD OF ALL MEN. When man finally knows of his

possibly intercommunicate with h i m by any extension of your e lec t r ic body to

h i s , for he could not hear sounds, nor read words.

His Mind i s not asleep, however, nor i s yours . His Mind st i l l DESIRES

and always will. That des i r e of h i s Soul to manifest his God-Self through a

body will eventually bring h is body back to manifest his Self.

Now consider th is thought. Mind des i res --and Mind thinks the THOUGHTS

which s t em f r o m des i re . If you should s i t with your father while he is as leep

and extend some d e s i r e of your Consciousness to his Consciousness he would

become aware of your thought extension to a m o r e o r l e s s extent, depending

upon the advancement of his own unfolding.

This fact i s so well recognized that i t has a name--thought t r ans fe rence ,

You can easi ly demonstrate tha t yourself . Sit In the room of a sleeping p e r -

son whom you a r e close to, such a s your wife. If you a r e exuberantly happy,

thinking beauty in rhythmic mus ic and such harmonious thoughts, you can

make he r s leep happily, and insulate h e r f r o m inharmonious d r e a m s , And

she will awaken that way. It cannot be otherwise fo r this i s a thought -wave

universe and her Consciousness will respond to the rhythm and essence of

your thought- -which i s happiness and balance --even if she did not awaken

with the patterned idea which you m a y have given to the thought.

Conversely, if you have deep wor r i e s and f e a r s , o r disturbing thoughts

which a r e f rus t ra t ions of your d e s i r e s , o r if something is menacing you, you

will soon see your wife turn i n h e r s leep, i f she is closely en rapport with you,

then, when she awakens she will give full evidence of having Consciously

ref lected the essence of your wor r i ed attitude of Mind. More than likely s h e

will say: with much concern , "What is the m a t t e r , John--what is wrong

This brings you to another thought for consideration.

If you would not speak to your living father o r wife who a r e sleeping,

because you know they could not answer you while in so depolarized a body

condition, why should you expect to speak i n words to your father who is not

only in his long sleep but who has s o r eve r sed h is polarity that h i s invisible

body could not hea r you, but a l so could not speak to you.

Ordinary common sense , and the knowledge you already have will point

out the absurdity of spir i tual is t ic c la ims tha t someone's mother is i n the room

and wishes to speak to h e r daughter through the medium who makes these

absurd claims.

Omit, therefore , all means of bodily, o r person to person intercommuni-

cations by means of the s e n s e s , and confine such possibilities to Mind- -and

thought -of -Mind intercommunications .

Omit also, a l l -thought -of -Mind intercommunications f rom which you m a y

hope for answers which have to do with things which concern only the senses . w

By this I mean such absurdi t ies a s asking one ' s mother if she is happy, o r

comfortable where she i s - - o r where she hid h e r jewel box.

Remember always tha t this i s a thought -wave universe - -that thought

bodies a r e living bodies --and that thought -bodies a r e not bound to t ime .

Thought bodies a r e e t e r n a l in t ime . Once formed they extend to the f a r

thest reaches of t ime.

Beethoven's thoughts a r e your thoughts - -and they a r e poster i tyP s . They

extend THROUGH you. Beethoven i s a p a r t of your identity- -your individ-

uality- -your cul ture - -your cha rm.

Countless thousands of the thoughts of people who have passed on have

been extended to future generat ions through you.

I t i s not n e c e s s a r y for m e to think of some par t icu lar thought of Beethoven's

o r of any other pe r son who h a s extended his thoughts to m e , for I can just

think of that Soul which i s Beethoven, or Leonardo da Vinci, o r Walt Whitman,

and the i r v e r y KNOWING extends to m e .

Even though they may have been "reincarnated" since they lived, the i r

KNOWING and the thought -bodies of their knowing, extend to m e a t will .

I can say much m o r e to you on this subject when we have fu r the r p repa red

you fo r comprehending i t ; but this I will say now, that mankind, a s a whole,

has but hard ly a r r i v e d at the verge of his new day of g rea te r Conscious

awareness . Grea t t ransformat ions lie ahead f o r many who have passed

beyond that v e r g e . Mankind, t h ree thousand y e a r s f r o m now will have Mind

QUESTION. "Does cremat ion have any d isas t rous effect upon r e i n c a r - P

nating bodies ? 'I

ANSWER. Not the s l ightest . The body which i s discarded does not r e tu rn . - I t i s replaced, just a s your body has always been replaced f r o m day to day.

You have not one par t ic le of the same body you were born with. You a r e

constantly discarding i t and replacing i t with s imi l a r s ta tes of moti.on. If

you were not constantly discarding your body it might weigh a hundred tons

i n a life t i m e .

Cremation of your whole body would have no m o r e effect upon future

bodies assembled by d e s i r e in you, than the burning of an amputated a r m

Reincarnation does not mean the r eb i r th of the s a m e body--it means the

assembling of the s a m e s t a t e s of motion which constitute the pat tern of that

body.
